although it wasn't specifically mentioned, this "light" version is a great option for us Super Moto riders who have a need to be seen and want better wind protection. Job well done!
im glad to see an alternative to the regular rally towers, especial when you think about the buffeting on the big ones. But in fact, what is the application for this one and when would you choose this instead of the bigger versions. Im currently into the decision which one and brand to use, thanks!
Any plans for a larger windscreen to be offered as an add-on/accessory? I personally prefer a bit more wind protection on some rides, being able to swap between small and large would be worthwhile.
@@ThiagoMundim not really it’s also used by factory teams on factory bikes and never caused any issue and it’s so handy for the riders to spot the issue and change the fuses quickly
Hi great video as allways I have a question for you is there any one how has monted a rally tower on a Norden 901. My question comes from the fact that Norden orginal tower is of olastic and not so strong. I´m riding road books rally with the bike and that equipment is heavy.
I notice that the wind shield is different then last years one. Rounded the old one was, you have sead how good there were On the race teams, becouse the wind would go around you. The new screen is so different how come ? Also will it work the same way on the new one vs the older race Ones ? Thanks for the help with this question Dennis
Dear Manuel: I recently ordered my Ultralight Adventur Kit. The reason for the purchase was a slightly better wind protection, a better place for my navigation device and better light output with street-legal headlights. The kit has now arrived: Everything looks good and well thought out. However, I noticed that the screen has a noticeable tint, that is not so obvious in the photos and in your video. On the one hand, the light output is significantly reduced (I tested it) and on the other hand, tinted headlights are not allowed in many countries. So, this tintet screen makes no sence for me. Will there be a clear screen available?
Hi, this is the transparent windshield the tinted one is way darker. We have no reduction of light power with this screen as simply depending on the material used to produce windshields as transparent can be sometime more yellowish sometimes more blueish but it’s transparent, we have a tinted version and the tinted one reduces the light. The problem of the street legal lights is that clearly they don’t make such a great light like the non street legal ones. This is the only transparent that exist but try looking at the bike in direct sunlight I think looking at the bike in the garage can be deceiving.
@@ManuelLucchese1 Thanks for your fast response! I already had contact with your admin: Yes, there is another windshield which is much darker (saw pics) But mine is far away from beeing clear, and as I said: There is a noticable reduction of the lightoutput.

Hi, sure but what do you mean? As the headlight wiring just plugs in so no need to do anything. Also the power harness goes from the battery to the fuse box and only variation is if you want to interrupt it with the switch you cut the red power wire and put the switch in between. All as shown in the video is plug&play
@@Bish.Moto1 All goes into the fuse box that has 4 power outlets. In brief all your + you connect each to one of the 4 fuse box outlets and the - ground you bolt all together on the tower.
Hi Manuel!! I have a question, on the non-approved version, does the lighting keep the dipped headlights and the high beams or do both lights come on at the same time? Thanks you !
Tower body is 0.9kg and frame clamp is 0.4kg then it all depends what devices you put and what lights, the Rebel X lights are 0.4kg each but there are also lights that are less than 0.2kg. In my opinion riding and testing it you really don't feel any difference in weight as all is so compact so even trying different lights setup with different weights does not make any difference, its more a placebo effect when weights are so low
@@ManuelLucchese1 The moment of inertia around the steering axis does have an influence on handling. But the weight information is OK for me, thank you very much!
@@herschellfinkelstein4146 not really I mean the theory yes but as you can see me jump with the bike you don’t feel it as I even was hitting big jumps on the motocross track that why I say many times it’s a placebo effect even when I was running the factory Yamaha team I would change stuff without telling the riders and they wouldn’t even realize

Hi Diego, on the Acc2 cable there is written on the red cable a label Fuse Box and that is what you bolt on the fuse box. Then from there you have 4 different power outlets to which you can wire the + of any device you want meanwhile all the grounds - you bolt them together on the tower
@ManuelLucchese1 My local supplier only has the 2020-2024 kit. Will that also fit the 2017 FE models? Or is there a difference, because I noticed that you offer various choices on your website?
Can I buy piece by piece? As I havw made a similar for my DRZ400. Yeah mine looks awesome and I get a ton of questions on where I got it. They are shocked when I say I built it feom scratch. I cant use all your stuff. But could use the main tower body and headlight spacers. As I run a squadron pro and a Diode Dynamics light. I would 100% buy just the tower body and all spacers. As I have a way to mount it already and my own windshield I prefer to use. If not, in get it. I will just pause it a few times, copy it and cut it out. I use 4 spacers on mine and seting enough ro lift my bike off ground by it. But if you look really close, you cant it is hand made, nit machine cut. Great looking kit! Is there any issue with reflection of the light towards the rider once dust accumulates on the backside of the windscreen?
No thanks to the upper sticker there is no reflection bothering also as you can adjust and bring it almost against the lights
