i buy my Amber from Poland i know a very nice seller i usually order twice a month different jewelleries from their shop . I love watching your videos for learning getting more informations , especially when you harvest the Amber the color and the sound of the sea i love all these details . ❤ wish you good luck and i will support your videos 😊
That is so cool, you do such a great job. And its cool that it could be the actual tree that produced the sap to begin with, or part of a tree that was around at the same time. 👍
Lovely piece, Jarek ❤ I would be happy with it in my collection. I am really curious to know if it has any insects. I hope you take close up pictures for another video. Thank you for sharing! Stay Crystal 💫 Mari
That is a very impressive piece of amber! I think the tree was dripping sap onto a log on the ground because there's so much material and the sap is there to seal a wound in the tree so perhaps amber from the tree itself would only be small pieces.
@@Amberscape thank you again for the heads up. I've ordered some rouge paste and some wool buffers. I'm now on the hunt for the liquid polish you use. As that seams to really make amber sing
I think it's just beautiful. You do such a great job of bringing out the best in the amber. I've been meaning to ask, is that your new vehicle in the back ground? Just wondering. Lol.
Thank you Safi! I use dremel rotary tool , model called dremel stylo, with it i use 110-600 dremel bits, 110-220 comes together with dremel Bundle - other grits you can find it ebay, also i use sandpaper 1000-3000grit for a final polish - all of these i bought in store that has building equipment like hammers saws etc:)
Hello can i ask your advice please. I am about to ourvhase a gorgeous piece of amber for a pendant necklace. But i dont know how to attach bale. Im assuming small small drill then use a screw in bale?
I use super tiny drill and i glue with artifical resin the thingies "screws" with pointy thingies where you can attach the chain, check my video to see what i mean: "making 49milion years old christmas tree toys"
@Amberscape wow they look amazing you make it look so easy. I just hope I don't damage this big amber stone. I need to try find large pendant bale now. But you have convinced me I can do it. Thank you
Love these prepping videos! Do you have experience with submerging your pieces in a fluid with a similar refractive index (like glycerin) so the light won’t be bent when taking pictures? I was wondering if it makes much of a difference.
I havent tried yet - but i've heard that this technique is a game changer. For example enrico bonino uses it chrck him out on ig or fb he has some crazy photos
@@Amberscape haha thanks, I actually met him this weekend, he’s a nice guy. That’s how I know of the glycerin method in the first place. He makes absolutely amazing images!

That makes sense to me!:)
The fact that amber is no less than 40million years old is mesmerising. All amber is mesmerising. I love the high gloss. What polish do you use ?
Its called scratch remover, used for windows and similar surfaces:)
@@Amberscape Thank you I shall try locating some
@kirtandrews1859 check the components though, amber polishing works best if the paste contains wax and silicone

After all that work what does a piece like that sell for?
Amber price is subjective - its worth as much as someone ready to pay for it:))
