While I'm a huge fan of the Mitsubishi Sirius Motor (I mean, look at my handle FFS, it's kismet), I also know that they're getting harder and harder to come by. I originally wanted an Evo 8 or 9, as the X was clearly out of my price range, but even clapped out 8s and 9s were overpriced, and this was 3 years ago. Today, those GD Evo prices are going into orbit. Someday... 😁. Conversely, the K-series are a damn dime-a-dozen. They can be found for dirt. There's a massive wealth of aftermarket support and swap kits to put a K-series in... well, practically anything now, lol. As stated above, they can handle a fair amount boost before they start to get wonky. Dollars for HP, the K-series, is hard to beat.

The win or loss shouldn't go to ANYONE. That 'Chase Is a Race' bs is dumb because it's pretty much giving future racers the incentive to jump if it's continuously permissable. I've said this on quite a few episodes. Mistakes happen in the heat of the moment, but the person that didn't make the mistake shouldn't be handed the loss.
The fact that the bimmer is a daily is insane and the other one is on the trailer all the time with almost 1000 pounds of weight less than the bimmer again is insane even though the bimmer won

This was a really good race for the change, instead of garbage races where the difference between cars were so absurd to the point that you wasted 15 minutes watching video just to see race where one car gets smoked by 7 car lengths.

1260kg, last I measured my civic it was sitting at about 935kg, and I'm planning on making it lighter lol. Suspension, windows, and seats are about the only 3 things left to do. Hoping for around 800kg, all said and done
Jamie needs a better flowing exhaust and possibly more waste gate. It’s a flow issue of your lifting the head. Better exhaust flow means more efficient combustion means less boost with lower IAT means more usable power and less loss to heat.

You can get them up to about 60-64 PSI before they split a block. So roughly 1400hp on E85.
