The Mini is so sick. It almost looks like a Kei truck with the back cut off. And the wheels on the…autograss(?) are soooo clean despite how sketchy it looks.
It's hardly a mini anymore 😄 more a spaceframe car with a fiberglass mini shell on top!
Mine is an Autograss Class 8, and the wheels are clean because they are borrowed, I don't own a straight set 😂🙈 but thanks hope you enjoyed it 👌

We race dirt track. There's lower classes but at the high end the cars push 800+ horsepower

@@BurpleRX7 I watched some autograss racing a few years ago near Nottingham. I seem to remember the class I watched ran mini bodies and the engine was a 2.0 8V MK2 Astra engine about 120 BHP stock but I think possibly with big carbs and other go faster parts so perhaps pushing 150 BHP at the time?
@@Franksey180 sounds like a class 6 group that, there are 10 classes that vary on engine size and driven wheel layout

Sick! Reminds me of my honda oddyseys and pilots. Im only running a 150hp rotax 2stroke though. It dominates 300' dirt drags but it cant compete with these i dont think. Tops out at only like 85mph but with cvt it gets there fast.😂

I yhink this was actually one if the first matches that was interesting and a real race.
Almost 1300 pounds the engines and transmission s and 2 gear boxes. I would believe the little truck would be little heavier then 1300 pounds. I'm thinking with even using ultra light cage tubing. Suspension breaks wheels and driver and everything else. Good guess would be around 2000 pounds
I build these for a living the weight is correct less driver top job to these boys the hardest thing is keeping the wheels on the ground
Dude you obviously don't know what you're talking about knock it off. If it actually weighs close to 1300 lb I would be surprised that it wasn't lighter than that.
Nah. A complete production Busa weighs close to 500lbs dry. Two bikes and you've got everything the buggy has minus some additional framing. 1,300lbs seems on point to me.
Someone who's never been within miles of the car knows more about what it weighs than the guy who owns it, runs it and built it.
