- From classic TV theme tunes to songs from the movies and chart topping hit singles, this is a sample of 1980s music tracks recreated by me.
All tracks were worked out by ear and produced in Cubase using VST synthesisers.

awww YES! all of that neverending story music! baywatch! so many other great movie themes in here as well! youve come close (with the taylor dane - tell it to my heart) to a request ive had for a few 80s style music producers here on youtube and thats for some oldschool 80s latin freestyle music remakes! classic songs by artists like Shannon, Sweet Sensation, Expose, Trinere, TKA... digging deeper and especially listening to the dub versions of many of those tracks and WHEW... the percussion on them is just MINDBLOWING. especially with records from the Ligosa label, produced by mark liggett and chris barbosa. ive never heard anything like it since! would love to see some classic tracks broken down though! keep em coming - whatever 80s classics you post im sure to love!

Great body of work! Just curious if the order of songs for this video are in the order of your favorites, or are they in no particular order?
I kept the movie soundtrack ones together and tried to avoid slow ones running consecutively... But otherwise there was no logical order... Just what I thought worked to keep people interested 😁.

Do you have perfect pitch that you're able to listen to the smallest nuances and replicate them?
I don't have perfect pitch in its true meaning....i.e. I can't identify any note on the scale without first hearing a reference note, but I've always been blessed with an ability to play most things on the piano by ear quite quickly.
The rest of it is probably just being used to listening with an analytical focus and having good monitoring equipment.
However, despite my musical education I'm not very good at reading music quickly... I'm just pretty slow.
I passed my piano exams largely by copying my teacher play the compulsory pieces rather than learning them from a sheet.
So I'd never be accepted it in a live orchestra!
You should do a cover of Electro-Phantasma and The Electric Horseman from the movie.
