i have been watching your videos since i was pregnant with my now 15 month old. i live in kendall area of miami and was curious about the childrens museum so thank you for sharing the info about the 2 hr windows and how really little ones react to the activities there. this video very helpful and relevant for me.👍
Awesome!!! Yep, spent a lot of my life in Kendall lol but yes! You should definitely check it out! I bought my tickets online and reserved the time frame. I can definitely see it getting super busy on the weekends though because we went during the week and as the time went on in the session, it got packed! But the kids still had so much fun.
Fruit picking is great right now. I'm a big fan of Homestead Farms and then Great Country Farms. GCF has a bunch of activities for kids, pig races, stuff to climb on, etc. Really great for fall and pumpkin picking. GCF is also right by Dirt Farm Brewery and Bluemont vineyard. Both have the most spectacular views overlooking the mountains.
Northern VA native here! You should visit Old Town Alexandria and the National Harbor. Super family friendly and lots of cute shops and places to let the kids run around. You should also visit Great Falls, George Washington's Mount Vernon, and obviously DC to walk around the National Mall. As for beaches, a lot of people go to either Ocean City or Virginia Beach. Other beaches that are really nice outside of VA are Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach. Both are in Delaware and just a few hours away!
So awesome the time u r having together! Right now my daughter and family are at Disneyland in CA! The live in WA but also own a condo in Palm Springs. After this Covid nightmare I am so happy to see families happy, seeing each other, having fun.....happy for u, Kayla! Hope u plan to get back to Miami in not too long a time!!!!!

This is making me soooo excited for my trip. Thank you for all the ideas on what to do. Last time I was in Florida we went to Hollywood Beach and I was sad how crazy it got. Hollywood Beach used to be a quiet family friendly area. Now it has turned into a zoo. I miss my Cuban food. My mouth is watering here.

I am also a big beach lover, I live on an island so I’m never more then 20 minutes from the beach but it’s cold here so we can only have sunny beach days 3 ish months of the year.
All right you inspired me! I love all foods and anything Latin American culture but knew nothing about Cuban anything. Just looked up my local Cuban Bodega and picked up my first croqueta and Cafe Con leche! I'm sure I won't be disappointed! Thank you for expanding my horizons!

My husband and I just had our babymoon on Assateague/Chincoteague island. It’s technically in southern Maryland I think, but a drivable distance from NoVA. It’s really cool because they have wild ponies on the island and lots of stuff for the kids to do like mini golf and ice cream, etc. but it’s a lot quieter and more laid back than Ocean City.

I am so glad that Jackson is doing so well. He is growing up and all of his accomplishments have been things that he has done on his own. Everything from when he got better when he drank more formula to sleeping good when he was not bothered. It made me see that sometimes breast feeding can make your baby sick and formula and food makes your baby grow well. Not every baby benefits from breast feeding. Some mothers put their feelings about it first while their children suffer from spitting up all of the time, bad tummy aches reflux and sleep deprivation. Thanks God Jackson is over that journey.
I got engaged at that park in 2017 in front of the lighthouse in the rain. We have two kids now and are talking about bringing them in the next couple of years.
