Hey, Coach Rob enjoyed the interview learned a lot ! Would you recommend creatine to riders? Why or why not?

    • @CoachRobbBeams
      @CoachRobbBeams Месяц назад

Thank you for the question! Creatine works extremely high as long as the quality is high and the body has been tested to ensure that it doesn't dehydrate you. Note: creatine is found in real foods, so a balanced diet will provide you what your body needs on a daily basis (I am not a fan of paying to have a good workout). However, when you load for 3 to 7 days with a high quality creatine product will improve your muscular power AND production of lactic acid, so remember to add a lactic acid buffer (beta-alanine). Let me know if you have any additional questions - happy to help!

Coach Rob is dead on! I'm a weight lifter now and my strength and stamina are directly affected by what goes into my body. When I'm bulking or just not cutting calories I am crazy strong and I recover very quickly. When I cut my calories and sugar I suffer in all parts of my training. My strength is cut probably by 20-25%, I have no stamina and my recovery time doubles. We are a biological machine and we need fuel just like and engine. The quality/quantity of fuel/food is the most important. I know weight training is different type of training but it all works the same.

As a builder of the body, I’d love to see what coach rob could do in that setting. I feel like the necessity of caloric intake knowledge is beyond vital . Everyone’s genes are different so it’s not some cookie cutter plan like most dish out. Every person will have a special diet training and rest plan. I def gotta check out complete med solutions tho see the prices on a blood panel for research purposes 😈😈 but everything he has said I’ve tried to break down to homies and randoms and exactly how he said all the guys teams reacted THATS EXACTLY HOW THEY ALL REACTED . Like verbatim word for word almost. In this field with that much cardio vascular demand 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 these guys better hire coach rob cause connective tissue aka ligaments don’t grow back once destroyed lol. And white and red blood cell count and transportation is something all should know resting heart rate and all. One thinks they’re good cause they can ride a bike for hours and come to find out their ldl is whacked and their insulin response is trash. The connective tissue can get better but never fully back like before . And the rest as well can be fixed but the risk you take cannot. Calories in calories out, and as a former tree climber for work to now house washing inside and out top to bottom, dude I’m strict af about what I eat when I eat and how much I have to eat. Even if it’s late af and I don’t feel like it, IM GETTING MY CALORIES. Hydration is secondary and I’ll always have 4-6 pedialyte type drinks or liquid ivs. Carbs are king in my engine protein is secondary . This was a DOPE ASS VLOG 🫡✊🏾✊🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🤝🏾 and pharmacology should and NEEDS to be talked about freely to make sure mfs aren’t trying to find out from curiosity . Doesn’t have to be harped on but if asked about yes one should be open about it. Kids will get an understanding as well as the warning not to play games with these tools. Just like they don’t play games with their tools in life at that time. Just like 2a, looking both ways before crossing and the whole 9. My body my choice right lol 😂😂🫡

A little off on description of EPO. Kidneys produce EPO when they recognize low O2 in blood. EPO goes to the red bone marrow in bone to stimulate production of more red blood cells. Too many RBCs increases blood volume, increases viscosity (thicker blood), and thus more stress on the cardiovascular system. But reward=more O2 carry capacity and less fatigue in a 40 minute moto.

You really need to address some myths on doping a little better. If you have a very high hematocrit level of say 48, EPO is going to do very little to nothing for you.
Mountain biker Christopher Sauser used to put his H level on his jersey, which was 38!! It was very low for a pro, and he won plenty of races. So this myth that you can not beat a guy doping is just that, a myth.
Racing Grand tours and pro motocross are two extremely different demands on the body. Pro motocross is not nearly as demanding on the body. Aside from the physical abuse from falls, crashes, and impacts. Which the tour riders actually suffer from also.
But it is a giant difference from doing two 35-minute motos per week to doing 100 plus miles a day every day for 23 days.
You can absolutely compete at the highest levels of moto without doping.
Check out the Netflix show of the guy who raced the amateur TDF one year, doped the next, and finished 20 places further back. This dope is not the majic that so many people believe it is. I believe it does more for a competitor mentally, believing to a high degree in himself, because he now believes he is on rocket fuel, then it actually does for his body. And while I am going to plead the 5th on this. I will just say I know people who were very disappointed in the return on investment.

If it is to maintain integrity of the sport, the test is inexpensive. If the testing is a big dick swinging contest to see who can get caught and who can avoid getting caught, the costs are significant. The purpose of testing needs to be clearly outlined, the ramifications need to be swift and specific and the testing needs to be consistent in order for testing to have any purpose. You would think the riders would schedule accordingly, or at least be able to.

    • @CoachRobbBeams

So true; however, the schedule changes so often and in so many ways, the riders are playing catch up constantly. Thank you for watching and commenting!

@@CoachRobbBeams is it more pressure from the teams? you would think that if they are not out of the stadium until 11-12 on supercross, they wouldnt make them catch a flight early sunday morning ?

I had the privilege of working with Ryan when he first signed with KTM. We had to dig out of some fatigue related issues and bring some perspective back into his racing program. I drove from Orlando and worked with him Tuesday - Thursday every week for a year. Great guy, hard worker, kind and very dedicated. There is a SX video out there with me and Ryan and us doing some testing together. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Your raised with money theory is stupid, how many wealthy pro football players sons are even better than their parents, the answer is lots. Pretty much most kids that race are spoiled to one degree or another. Has to do with natural aptitude, mindset, desire and then improving. The same little kids that rip almost always are the one who rip as pros

Every top level rider who can afford PEDs takes them. Sexton of course is on the juice and honestly who cares? Good for him

Sexton is, of course, on the juice ? What shred of evidence do you have for this before dragging a guys reputation through the mud.
I was 6' 1" and 210 lbs with 8% body fat. And I only trained 15 hours a week. I am sure a pro with no other job, but to train, could easily achieve those results without juice.
Running the mouth or the key board with no journalistic integrity just seems about the lowest thing somebody could do. That's just my opinion, of course. But at least it is based on the golden rule.
This whole thing of riders doping has not been a topic until a couple of loose cannons started flapping lips.
I need to confirm it, but sources say Sexton has been tested at 7 consecutive races this year without a positive.
Romur has it lawrence has not been tested once.

    Hey Cooksey!
Love your channel and like Coach Robb... BUT... I get you want to grow the media/youtube side of your life, but this felt sold out and it was a Coach Rob Video under your banner. For me this needed to be cut into you taking on 3 or 4 snappy topics with Robb and you being the host and front and centre.
Hope that is taken as a positive and helps moving forwards .👍

A sincere thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! This conversation was 100% organic. Chris hit me up asking about fatigue and asked me to come on the show and discuss. It was never intended to be a Coach Robb video on the Cooksey Mob channel. I hope you found the information helpful at some level and if not, please let me know if there is anything that you have questions on and send them directly to me - I would be happy to help. Thank you again for your honest feedback and taking the time to comment.
