technically it says he'll never let you be tempted more than you can handle. so you probably will have too much on your shoulders at some point (that's why you can cast your cares on Him) but you wont be too tempted to take matters into your own hands and make a terrible mistake; He'll provide a way of escape before you hit bottom. Which still means, yes, be patient because the reward is worth the wait. but i just felt like clarifying that because i recently read the verse for the first time and realized people were using it wrong XD (idk it was hilarious to me).
