The owners & volunteers at St Mary's are passionate about keeping the place open to the public & only achieve this through remarkable dedication & exhausting efforts
The owners have been recognised by the Queen for their services to conservation - see themselves more as 'custodians' of the house working to keep it open for current and future generations of the public to enjoy.
Princess Alexandra recently visited to meet the owners & volunteers to thank them for their efforts & present some important Long-Service Awards recognising what they have achieved together.
