Hey ! I can't find the clip to go on the tripod and the tripod you mentionned in the video at the beginning on your links. could it be possible to share a link ? :) thanks a lot !
I wanted to ask... what model Oben tripod is that and where did you get it? It looks EXACTLY like one I sold on r/PhotoMarket a while back, even the same levelling QR and everything...
I loved Lana's shot with the train compartments pulled apart as it went around the curve, and how she managed to get just the right amount of people in the carriages, that's got to be Hocus Pocus or maybe Luck, Cheers.
When I got my Canon t6 the first technique I tried was a long exposure of the road. Once I saw those light trails in photoshop I started loving photography
Great videos man ! One day you just going to have to make a magazine which photos you think are your top best in the past 5 years , that would a be interesting video ! God bless you and your family bro ! 🙏
ISO 50 involves software adjustments, what happens is your camera is shooting at iso 100 , but overexposing by one stop, then the software corrects it by darkening it back by one stop. As the result you might blow up the details in the highlights beyond recovery without realizing it. Otherwise the quality is the same.
Hi I’m new to photography and over the weekend I decided to go out at do a night time photo shoot with my buddy. I noticed a lot of my photos that were in decent light ended up being kinda blurry (I wasn’t moving the camera) and the ones that were darker looked pretty good. I have to assume that’s an ISO problem would I be correct?
Native iso for 15 stops of dynamic range would give 7.5 stops of shadow and highlight. Lowering the base iso would squeeze the details of highlight to the shadow.
Hi Pierre. Do you use the Sony gm 35mm 1.4? When it was launched it was so popular on RUclips rewievs. But no i don't see any you tubers who use that lens. They only use what they had before. Was it just a hype because it was a new lens? And what lens do you recommend for a dad (me) who loves to take photos of my family?
Hey Pierre I’m a big fan and really enjoy learning about photography the way you teach and show in your videos, I’m in the market to buy a beginner camera that takes photo and video in 4K, and was wondering if you could give me your best starter 4K camera and lens combo recommendation for me to buy! Would really appreciate it if you got back with me thanks!
ISO 50 is an extended ISO - it's effectively the same as taking a 1 stop overexposed photo at ISO 100 and then applying -1 stop of exposure in post. In doing so you lose a stop of dynamic range in the highlights. I can't see any reason to use ISO 50 for a RAW workflow. If you're shooting JPEG then it's marginally useful if you need a slower shutter speed (for artistic reasons) and you can't close down the aperture any further.
Pierre, on a tripod just use the base ISO. Don't worry too much about under exposure. Read into ISO Invariance, when using a tripod it doesn't really matter anymore....
I wish I had the confidence to go out and shoot more, but I’m only 15 and I get a lot of stares. I also don’t have any friends that share my interest sadly :(
Find groups who would love photos taken of them... skaters, bmxers, dancers, artists etc. Night time may be harder. When I was 16 I was into skateboard and Rollerblades but was below average on them but shot photos for some groups, got a few featured in magazines, even won a prize... fun experiences
Im no expert but from what i read you should stay in your nativr iso range for you camera, sony shows it by framing the non native ranges with a border in the iso selection

It's the manfrotto 323.
What a coincidence, A few days ago I suddenly wanted to take a long exposure night photo, and now my favorite RUclipsr made a video about it.
hehe enjoyyy
Same here 😂
Loving the 80’s vibe music at 5:24. Night shots n’ trails are always cool 😎👍🏻

I loved Lana's shot with the train compartments pulled apart as it went around the curve,

Those dancing light technique I like it 😀gonna try it
Pierre incredible videos! Is it the Manfrotto 323 quick release plate the the peak design bag clip will work with? TIA
Gooood Morning Pierre 😊
Incroyable comme d'habitude!!!
Merci!
As a general rule - best quality is achieved at the lowest native ISO - avoid the extended ranges
Always try to keep iso down. Best to achieve bright detailed photos is by using natural light, long exposure, high wide aperture etc.
Great photos! love this video, very informative.. love the Chicago trains. . Thanks for the night setting cheat sheet. I am a Nikon owner...
Bro you should try some rear curtain shutter flash with a really powerful strobe on some of your shots might be cool ! Cheers 🍻
Is there a new color grading in place in this video? Or new camera settings? It looks really nice, i like it. Was this shot on 24mm?

I‘m also a proud Nikon shooter
As of now I do long exposure on my phone but I can't wait to get a A7ii with 28-70mm Sony lens!
Native iso for 15 stops of dynamic range would give 7.5 stops of shadow and highlight. Lowering the base iso would squeeze the details of highlight to the shadow.
Papapapammmm!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Love you bro😍
I checked your gear list but couldnt find any info on the tripod you’re using. Mind sharing the brand and model?
Pierre do you know that Peak Design plates (both dual and standard) are Arca-Swiss compatible. You don't need any adapters. Quick tip ;)
Encore une super vidéo très intéressante…!
Pourrais-tu me donner le modèle du trépied que tu utilises stp merci 🙏🏼
What filters did you use on the lens for those long exposure? Thxs ! It mist have been a really fun shootig night :)

Pierre, on a tripod just use the base ISO. Don't worry too much about under exposure. Read into ISO Invariance, when using a tripod it doesn't really matter anymore....
what program you use to edit the pictures?
iso 400 has the best dynamic range
C'est dingue vraiment
:)
I wish I had the confidence to go out and shoot more, but I’m only 15 and I get a lot of stares. I also don’t have any friends that share my interest sadly :(
Bro, i'm 30 and i have the same problem
Just do it
Finding photo groups around or keep going out and you’ll meet others :))
Find groups who would love photos taken of them... skaters, bmxers, dancers, artists etc. Night time may be harder. Im no expert but from what i read you should stay in your nativr iso range for you camera, sony shows it by framing the non native ranges with a border in the iso selection
Your cameras default ISO (100) is going to be the highest quality. Anything higher or lower will degrade the quality.
true. the highset or the lowest( 50) iso has an double underscore on it.
Am I the only one who's Peak Design fits their tripod 🤔
Pierre, I’ve always been curious as to what the T stands for in your name 🤔🤔
Cool
I'm trying to download the sheet but I put my info and does nothing, good way to get peoples info.
