Mercedes Sprinter starter motor change

My Sprinter had big trouble starting, cold weather was here, tried changing the glowplugs but that didn't make much difference. Thought I would change the starter motor and try that.
Bought a reconditioned unit off the net, watch how I fit it!

You better checked the mercedes WIS before your job...nobody removes DPF/exhaust stuff.

If a pipe is leaking then it may be possible to replace it , remove the leaking part and take it to the parts shop. If you cannot remove it then you will have to get advice from a garage. Good luck!

wait if its cranking over and not starting I would start with fuel filter 1st

Hi there, thank you for the question. If it is a pipe then it can be replaced, is the pipe on the fuel filter and if so what does it look like?
