Hearing a dude give me 10 tips while watching him fight a crab and he isnt parrying or step dodging or guard breaking is painful... So here is MY tip Whenever an enemy turns blue with a big blue circle on them it means there doing a shielded move that you can gaurd break and instantly hazard them. And considering enemies like turtles use these types of moves fairly often it makes them extremely easy to kill if you gaurd break them. Not every skill can guard break so be mindful. The only moves i personally have found are vaporal strike on 1 handed sword moveset and i think its called moment bite or something close to that on the dual wielding set. So use those moves on the enemies when they turn blue and it makes them a cake walk. Infact it makes them so incredibly easy you can pretty easily kill a turtle 10-20 levels above you if your patient enough to fight for the next 30 minutes.... tip number 2.... Parry this you filthy casual! When you start blocking you can move your stick in the direction your enemy is attacking from and if you parry at the correct time and direction you can build up your meter a lot faster and it also makes you take no damage from the attack. So if your fighting something like a lynx that kinda just spams a roar, a jump, and then a side swip.... It makes it pretty easy to parry the side swipe and then just walk backwards from its jumps....parrying builds up your meter meaning the more you do it the faster you can use your ultimate attack making you do infinitely more damage then someone who isn't parrying. So in short... If an enemy is going to attack fairly slow and you know where the attack is coming from... PARRY AS IF YOUR PLAYING DARK SOULS.... Next tip.... Becoming immortal... In this game you can become immortal, all you need to do is time your dodges. If you successfully dodge then you will become temporarily immortal and it will build up your meter. So in short.... If you spam guard breaks, step dodges, and parry often then you can build up your meter super quickly, hazard your enemies 5 times more then normal, and your immortal so you don't need a lot of hp.... So yea that crab that really only uses gaurd moves or side swipes can be killed almost too easily as long as you follow these steps and time your counters and dodges. These tips will take you from running in fear of a turtle 10 levels above you to killing it without ever being touched in the first place. Learn your opponent's attack patterns and learn when to use skills instead of just spamming the attack button and hoping for the best.... Even if you only use the parry you will still be killing things much faster
I just wish the side quest had markers, the hints the npc gives are useless, he tells you to head one place but the map iteself is useless so you dont really know where you have to go.
That's what kills it for me. I dont mind Kirito but I want it to be like Gun Gale game they recently did. Where you have you own story and and you work with Kirito. Not just play as him and only make your own character if you go online.
I didnt want to rush the game and do eveything like I did with hollow realization bc I only had 3 weeks to actually do evything before this game came out Anyways I'm also enjoying this game I just have less motivation to play lol I just got to chapter 6 with 100 hours already
i have heard there is a lot of microtransactions in the full priced game .... how bad is that aspect of the game? as in is there a lot of content locked away behind paywalls?
Nope, the only things you can pay for are some buff items, weapon skins and costumes so far, and I didn’t use any of the buff items to reach lvl 47 (current level cap is 50). Nothing has been behind any paywalls.
I'd like to point out that the game does not in fact follow the novels' volumes 9-18 storyline, but rather is relatively closely based on volumes 9-14 (with an added subplot about Medina) for "Chapter 1", before branching off into an entirely new canon for an additional five "chapters". The whole of volumes 9-14 being a single chapter of the game that takes 20 or so hours to play through, the game as a whole is looking to be quite long (120 hours? Good God). Also, your party is only set according to your story progression for the first chapter as well. After that, you can freely choose your party members, with more characters becoming available over time.
not surprised that it doesnt follow the light novel continuity like you would think. I mean SAO games in general have their own game universe/continuity that never really follows the actual canon story. I was honestly wondering how far the game would follow the canon story until it diverges into the game verse continuity. Thanks for the info
@@rockstar93795 they said this game was gonna follow the first part of the anime which is Chapter 1 of the game with a little tweak chapter 2 to 6 is a whole another story indeed

The real struggle for me was getting through the Central Cathedral, had to try the Eldris fight a couple times since I wasn’t familiar with how to use whips. They’ve since become one of my two favorite weapons but it was a hassle back then.
Yes you can, as you unlock allies you can have them in your party and then change to them before you fight. You can also customize their skills, weapons and more. Thanks for watching
just beat the game took roughly 75 hours it was a very good game minus the few bugs/crashes but nothing that actually hindered gameplay it really picks up in chapter 3 the game is very fucking good
Wow @Silverbakk, and I know this video was possibly uploaded 3 years ago, but i honestly hope your feelings about the quest dialogue being long, improved, as JRPGS/KRPGS/ARPGS normally have extended quest/post quest dialogue. For me, im fine and expecting it hapoen with these games. Wonder what your thought are about mgs snake eater (with its dialogue and the insanely long latter thar Kojima probably included to troll the fans), or about mgs guns of the patriots and its dialogue (read somewhere that there is a 90 minute cut scene with heavy dialogue).
The amount of dialogues and character interaction is way more than I expected, which definitely incentivize me to actually buy it. If this game is more combat focus and not much dialogues/ 2D arts, I'm actually less interested lolz.
1) can you have Kirito use other weapons (class) from *the start* OR is it his usual Sword class? 2) when you finally get to create your character, do you use that one from then on (for story/etc) instead of Kirito or is that character an extra (like the others) and you still use Kirito forever?
1 - Kirito starts with the sword class but once you make your way to town and meet the blacksmith you have the option to buy other weapons. However, if you switch weapon class you will need to farm a little bit to get the skill level up so you do decent damage. 2 - The character you create can be used for the rest of the gameplay and has the option to be male or female. The customization of the character is not that advanced but you do change your character's name as as well. As the story continues you will be referred to as Kirito. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Just to add, some skills you can unlock without having weapon proficiency as long as you have skill points which you get from proficiency, level ups, killing strong enemies, and certain quests. Makes it easy to switch weapons and not have any skills for it
I got a couple questions I really like sao. 1.are yukki,Sinon klein and alot of other main characters in it 2.does it have stuff from moon cradle 3.does it follow the story of the games too (i know it follows the anime)with kureha, premiere, rain etc 4.can you trade items 5.is it laggy like the other sao games with multiplayer 6.are there accelworld characters. 7.does it collab with anything 8.can you use a bow. 9.can u be a beast tamer like silica was in the first season. 10.can you go to multiple towns. 11.are there enhanced armaments 12.is there pvp
Is full game the same as base game? Because the deluxe edition says it has the full game but the standard one says it has the base game. Are they the same?
It's a JRPG name me a well known JRPG that dose none Japanese Dub... Also, as a veteran of RPG games, the "flaws" are normal game mechanics for a story game. And when it comes to early game grind it can very easily be completed within the 1st sitting, if you pay attention/ already know how these games work. Though it's good to see that, for the most part, this review & hopefully the channel is not biased. Seems to be a rear thing, now a days.
What system is this gameplay footage from? I have a PS4 (not Pro) and I keep reading that it's so choppy on the original PS4 that it's unplayable. Can you please comment on this ?
The loading times and such have been thoroughly patched, as for the grind I actually didn’t pay much attention and suddenly I was at lvl 47 (level cap is 50). So the grind isn’t really that bad.
I’m conflicted between this or HR because I haven’t played HR but I have played the demo of this game and I have gotten quite used to the combat and the story does seem to interest me but HR I heard is like the best game of them all and I been wanting to play more Sao games ever since I played Fatal bullet
i cant find it anywhere, but whats the endgame lik? are there super bosses that require you to get the best gear before going against them, or is it mainly average side quests with most likely a boss at the end of the story?
Yeah the Divine Beasts are definitely endgame material, you need to get good gear for them and it’ll be a tough fight no matter what you do. The reward is a powerful piece of gear, one boss drops armor and the rest drop weapons of different types.
Probably doesn’t unless “something terrible” happens to Eugeo. And seeing as the anime isn’t even done it’s probably unlikely and will cover the time when Kirito and eugeo leave their starting village till when they become mentors or something. That being said I haven’t played the games, but this is what makes sense unless they plan to kill some characters off. Perhaps through DLC and timed release with the anime will they finish the underworld story
I due like team playing especially like call of duty but can you control the players I’m sorry 😞 I haven’t played since the first ps3 so I’m a little behind the times but I do like sao anime English dub though this was posted a year ago do they have one ☝️ one the original sao ps4 game ?
The first one is wrong, this game not adapted *directly* from volume 9 to 18. Hell for now there aren't War of Underworld in the base game. The game is part of SAO console game series, aside from AW VS SAO, that in separate continuity from the main canon, as confirm in the Gameverse trailer show the evolution of all main SAO console games with 2D animation adaptation of iconic scenes from past games. It's true that Chapter 1 progress very similar of Volume 9 to 14, but there are some scene heavily altered to differentiate the main canon, especially near the end of Chapter 1.

I play on ps4 and want I went to buy sao I the deluxe edition says that it includes the full game but it doesn’t say that on the standard I know this is a stupid question but I was wondering if I was going to have to buy the deluxe edition to play the full game
Question I’ve only watched season one and two of the anime do you need to know the story beyond those seasons to know what’s going on (I don’t really care if the game spoils it because I have no intention of watching the rest)
nope not really, its almost the same as the anime with some changes here and there. i would say its even more fun without watching the anime or watching the anime after.
Gerald Fisher thank you I know I said I wouldn’t watch the anime but I might just because I’m waiting for my pc still so yeah and really has been awhile since I watched it
You can not swap weapons while in battle but fleeing a battle is pretty simple if your not doing a main quest. Weapons are dual swords, maces, bows, staff, greatsword and katanas. Ill be doing a weapon breakdown video today so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
The game like you know, the enemy doesn't have any effect while we attack. It's like when you can attack the enemy, the enemy still can attack you. fells like it doesn't have any effect of fight. Like you're not get knocked back when fighting each other. Seems enemy have some immune?
That’s something I want in here, this game has a lot of focus on a dueling system so I want to duel other players, not just NPC’s. In Hollow Realization they added the NPC dueling system in a DLC, so it should be possible to add multiplayer dueling in a DLC of this game. I hope they do it. That aside, there is multiplayer combat in SAO Fatal Bullet.
The Gaming Party Hat if you like JRPGs and SAO I would. Be warned that the first chapter is a struggle but once your pst that the game is actually pretty fun in my opinion. Hope this helps!

That crab battle... I could hear the sword making squeaky sounds as it hit.
Turn the brightness all the way down it makes the game look so much better 👌🏽
Apollo I’ll try that tonight! Thanks 😀
Saribro np tell me what your think once you try it.
I usually have my brightness as default or lowered
I just wish the side quest had markers, the hints the npc gives are useless, he tells you to head one place but the map iteself is useless so you dont really know where you have to go.
Can i play on switch with my friend on PS4?
So I cannot create my own character. Ok thanks
That's what kills it for me. I dont mind Kirito but I want it to be like Gun Gale game they recently did. Where you have you own story and and you work with Kirito. Not just play as him and only make your own character if you go online.
@@kokayinewsome9308 u can make ur own character but in cutscenes Kirito will b there lol
@@etercious that sucks
Yeah I'm not a fan of the characters much but I did enjoyed Fatal Bullet because I was the main character LMAO.
Great vid. I do have a question: Do different outfits and weapons you can equip the characters with show up in story cutscenes?
Unfortunately not
Does the SAO games require to be online(connected to internet)?
Nope. Online features are there but they're optional.
Really enjoying the game
Daniel Moleka RTX same! I will admit it was a rough start for me but as you unlock everything it becomes way more enjoyable. Thanks for watching!
Same just the frames gets me at the beginning but I started forgetting that
@@Silverbakk Meeee toooo
I didnt want to rush the game and do eveything like I did with hollow realization bc I only had 3 weeks to actually do evything before this game came out
Anyways I'm also enjoying this game I just have less motivation to play lol
I just got to chapter 6 with 100 hours already
TabbyClan69 I’m still on chapter 2 lol been playing ghost of Tsushima lol
Thanks for this video, I was on the fence about buying this game based on the past reviews and videos I had seen, but you convince my to buy it.
How is it?
@@DanteDX12 it's fun if you just get through the first part. Allot of those missions are repetitive hunts. Not for everyone but I would recommend
@@Felix-lc2ie yeah im used to repetitive missions. Are there at least plenty of weapons/gear to grind for?
@@DanteDX12 yep allot actually
Just got it for free so let's see how it goes
Am trying to wait till my next paycheck but I really want this game lol
Monkey D Luffy 24 definitely a good buy. Once you get past the first chapter the game is actually pretty fun.
fitgirl repack...try this site to get the game instead of wasting money
Has it improved at all since it initially came out? I like the look of it but ive never watched/read the series so dont know if it's worth it.
Is the multiplayer feature and custom character on all platforms?
i have heard there is a lot of microtransactions in the full priced game .... how bad is that aspect of the game? as in is there a lot of content locked away behind paywalls?
Nope, the only things you can pay for are some buff items, weapon skins and costumes so far, and I didn’t use any of the buff items to reach lvl 47 (current level cap is 50). Nothing has been behind any paywalls.
@@TheCrazyCapMaster okay thanks for letting me know
I'd like to point out that the game does not in fact follow the novels' volumes 9-18 storyline, but rather is relatively closely based on volumes 9-14 (with an added subplot about Medina) for "Chapter 1", before branching off into an entirely new canon for an additional five "chapters".
So is the multiplayer like fatal bullet? Do you make your own character?
The multiplayer takes 10-15 hours to unlock and the cutscenes are not all at once it is more like load screen > cs > ls >cs >ls >cs it is very tedious at times. The combat is very much a 180 from the super easy sao games of past.
Really looking forward to the patch already planned for late july
Ended up refunding, honestly realization is a better game and still the best version of sao as far as combat goes.
Ah~ proper pronunciation. Been hearing "curry-toe" from a couple other reviews and it was just too much for me to stick through it with how often they say it. Thank god 😌
What about the other characters that were in the previous games like yuuki and strea etc
Yoshi Amv’s no Strea from what I have found or played through yet. The game/story is very centered around Alice and Asuna is a playable character mid-end game. Thanks for watching!
Saribro thanks man I hoping yuuki will be in this game also keep up the great work
Yoshi Amv’s just ran into asuna, Liz and silica so yep there are some other familiar faces 😁
Saribro hopefully there will be more
@@AbsoluteRailgun I don't think they are gonna be there
U can see the trophies for who u need to reach max affinity with and yuuki and strea aren't there
Do u suggest getting the deluxe edition that comes with virtual currency or just the standard game?
Combat generally isnt slow and in the video you arent even using skill connects or chain bursts thats probably why you find it slow
Great stuff man!
The Game Looters thank you! Enjoy the weekend!
Somethings to mention you can change the people in your party later on and at the end of wepon skill trees it will take alot of grinding to get the last skill but it will be worth it
Can confirm, I pushed to max proficiency on the katana skill tree, Sanka is pretty powerful whether used as a counter or just as a regular skill.
The main thing you need to know is that autosave DOES NOT WORK. you will end up replaying 3-5hrs of gameplay
The real struggle for me was getting through the Central Cathedral, had to try the Eldris fight a couple times since I wasn’t familiar with how to use whips. They’ve since become one of my two favorite weapons but it was a hassle back then.
can i play as other characters besides kirito?
Yes you can, as you unlock allies you can have them in your party and then change to them before you fight. You can also customize their skills, weapons and more. Thanks for watching
Do you have to play as kirito or do you get to make your own character like fatal bullet
just beat the game took roughly 75 hours it was a very good game minus the few bugs/crashes but nothing that actually hindered gameplay it really picks up in chapter 3 the game is very fucking good
Mook Makes Cool Content Late to respond, but thanks! I’m buying the game because of your comment.
Definitely makes me wanna get the game. 10/10 review, hopefully I can get it soon :D
Is it worth paying 100 dollar for the game? My brother got the 100 dollar version I was a bit skeptical about the content and it's insane price point
its worth it imo. i always buy the top ones which give you extra cos or something to help you along the way. but that all depends on u
Extra costumes and more importantly a season pass for the paid DLC’s, now he won’t have to pay more for those later.
No game is worth $100.
@@Silverbakk it helped. Thanks! 👍
Just to add, some skills you can unlock without having weapon proficiency as long as you have skill points which you get from proficiency, level ups, killing strong enemies, and certain quests. Makes it easy to switch weapons and not have any skills for it
What's that armour you're using and where can I get it???
I got a couple questions I really like sao.
1.are yukki,Sinon klein and alot of other main characters in it
2.does it have stuff from moon cradle
3.does it follow the story of the games too (i know it follows the anime)with kureha, premiere, rain etc
4.can you trade items
5.is it laggy like the other sao games with multiplayer
6.are there accelworld characters.
7.does it collab with anything
8.can you use a bow.
9.can u be a beast tamer like silica was in the first season.
10.can you go to multiple towns.
11.are there enhanced armaments
12.is there pvp
Is full game the same as base game?
Because the deluxe edition says it has the full game but the standard one says it has the base game. Are they the same?
Marionflass the deluxe just comes with the DLCs already installed for when they actually release. You can buy the base and upgrade later.
@@Silverbakk Oh thanks a lot
Can u do story mode online like can friends view the same cutscenes as you or is that different
This what I can't get a straight answer on either lol
The combat time may get to me, but the big thing for me is if theres much grinding or not. (Like, as much as Hollow Fragment, or Hollow Realization)
I've not followed the story in a long while, is there any classes with pets/summons?
What system is this gameplay footage from? I have a PS4 (not Pro) and I keep reading that it's so choppy on the original PS4 that it's unplayable. Can you please comment on this ?
Earned a. Sub bro its my first time playing it because im a pc gamer. Should i get it and is it worth to get the deluxe edition?
Harry The Mouse i have a 5700xt on my laptop 1070 only though. But gameplay wise and multiplayer wise is it worth the 60?
renz caballero it’s poorly optimized on pc so I would either wait a bit or if u have a ps4 get it on there

do you know if i would get enough performance with my setup? ryzen 5 2600 & nvidia gtx 1650 oc . very helpful video thanks!
Yes
Can you do the main quest in coop mode? or just the missions that you already finished?
You can do online coop together, you cant join anyone whos a higher progress than you tho so keep that in count when making lobbies together
@@ruty6099 but, if we are on the same part of story, can we advance or its locked just like sao HR?
@@nathandbf you can progress together at the same story
Do you have play as Kirito or can you use other characters? Or not have Kirito in the party all together? Let's just say I don't like him.
Kirito will always be in the party but you can switch to other characters in the party and use them to fight, while Kirito does his own thing.
I love sao a lot and I love rpg but I heard about how long the grind is and the frame rates of this game, is it still worth it to buy?
The loading times and such have been thoroughly patched, as for the grind I actually didn’t pay much attention and suddenly I was at lvl 47 (level cap is 50). So the grind isn’t really that bad.
I’m conflicted between this or HR because I haven’t played HR but I have played the demo of this game and I have gotten quite used to the combat and the story does seem to interest me but HR I heard is like the best game of them all and I been wanting to play more Sao games ever since I played Fatal bullet
i do't know anything about this game, and haven't watch the video yet, but! BUT! does the game still have all those dialogue like the other games?
i cant find it anywhere, but whats the endgame lik? are there super bosses that require you to get the best gear before going against them, or is it mainly average side quests with most likely a boss at the end of the story?
Yeah the Divine Beasts are definitely endgame material, you need to get good gear for them and it’ll be a tough fight no matter what you do. The reward is a powerful piece of gear, one boss drops armor and the rest drop weapons of different types.
The one thing I needed to know the most is how to pronounce the bloody name correctly aha
Haha trust me I googled the pronunciation to be sure or else I would have die-hard fans coming at my throat lol. Thanks for watching!
Of Lycoris its Lick-Core-Lis but I like to pronounce it Lie-Core-Lis
How far does the story actually goes?
Does it get to the underworld war and finishes it?
What happens after 1 month? Servers shut down or do I have to rebuy it or what???

I play on ps4 and want I went to buy sao I the deluxe edition says that it includes the full game but it doesn’t say that on the standard I know this is a stupid question but I was wondering if I was going to have to buy the deluxe edition to play the full game
Deluxe edition will have the season pass included with the base game. The One month edition is the base game with preorder bonus cosmetics
It’s a dumb question but no you don’t need to buy the deluxe
Deluxe isnt needed unless you want the Robe and possibly the 2 DLCs that wont be of any use probably
It looks so pretty
Question I’ve only watched season one and two of the anime do you need to know the story beyond those seasons to know what’s going on (I don’t really care if the game spoils it because I have no intention of watching the rest)
nope not really,
its almost the same as the anime with some changes here and there.
i would say its even more fun without watching the anime or watching the anime after.
Gerald Fisher thank you I know I said I wouldn’t watch the anime but I might just because I’m waiting for my pc still so yeah and really has been awhile since I watched it
Can i play the game on PC?

Are you still playing this game and is it worth it?
I’m playing it and it’s awesome
What are Weapon types. Is there real time weapon swap. Thanks
You can not swap weapons while in battle but fleeing a battle is pretty simple if your not doing a main quest. Weapons are dual swords, maces, bows, staff, greatsword and katanas. Ill be doing a weapon breakdown video today so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!

Kill and fetch. What more else would you expect from a jrpg
I have a qustion in witch game or in this game can you fight actual players
That’s something I want in here, this game has a lot of focus on a dueling system so I want to duel other players, not just NPC’s. In Hollow Realization they added the NPC dueling system in a DLC, so it should be possible to add multiplayer dueling in a DLC of this game. I hope they do it.
That aside, there is multiplayer combat in SAO Fatal Bullet.
