- Update! I added the rock necklace holders to my Etsy! 🎉 Link here: agateariel.etsy.com/listing/1...
Hey there, awesome people! It’s Ariel, diving headfirst into a brand new, kinda bonkers adventure where we’re chasing after rocks in a, eh, beautiful? Minnesota river. This isn’t your grandma’s rock collection - we’re hitting up a this river for some super cool rockhounding, and let me tell you, it’s definitely more fun than trying to bathe a ferret. 🐾🚿
In this absolutely not-to-be-missed episode, we’re loading up, gearing up, and possibly messing up, as we trek through nature’s own obstacle course to find the shiniest, most peculiar rocks the river has to offer. From agates that’s more dazzling than my personality on a Monday, to a rock that looks like it spent too much time in the gym. 🏋️♀️
So, slap that play button like it owes you money, leave a like if you love rocks as much as I do, and smash subscribe for your weekly dose of chaos, laughter, and questionable rock experiments. 🔬
Shout out to my awesome patrons: Jonathan Laurer, Ancient Soul, Michael Trudell, Ellie Mayne, Lisa Sierras, Cooper Moon, Rick, Jennifer M, Kevin Kloth, Julia Shoemake, Herbert Wilson-I truly appreciate your support!

Love the necklace / stone holder 💕
Puzzle rocks are always fun to find. 😉
So I have some tips for you for making some of your cabs super shiny without polish, also since you have a rock saw I have some rocks I’ll send you that you can keep but I would love a video showing what they look like on the inside as I only have a angle grinder with a 4.5” blade on it and it scares me to get my fingers that close to a 15k rpm death wheel lol
Oh yes, I would love to hear how to make them shiny without a cabber! What kind of rocks do you want cut?

Thank you!! It was a fun day!
Hey! New to rock tumbling here! I have been watching a lot of your videos and appreciate your content. What are your thoughts on the tumbler that you have from Harbor freight?
I find those black rocks all the time. (in much smaller size) I have no clue what they are called. I’m new to rockhounding so I have no clue as to what anything is 🤦🏼♀️ It’s so difficult for me to figure out. Even Google reverse search doesn’t work for me. So annoying when I’m trying to learn! I do like your necklace BTW ❤
idk why but at 1:54 I thought you were gonna say “I kinda wanna eat it” 😂
I live on the Chesapeake Bay - yes not far from the now-collapsed bridge - and most of the rocks I find on the "beaches" here are just like what you find but a lot smaller. I've been actually maybe thinking about planning a move to Michigan - just so I can collect bigger versions of my favorite little rocks. BUT - I've heard you rockhounds are plagued by ferocious mosquitos up there. Is that true? 8 /
Haha oh yes, it’s mosquito city here in Minnesota!
@@AgateAriel Well dang. I hate those things. Do they spoil your outings? Do you have any advice? 8 /
Can chert be put in the rock tumbler?
Hey I have a question. I stay in the High desert of California it's considered the Mojave desert. You ch have me interested in collecting rocks . My question is can I go in the desert and collect a bunch of rocks put them in a tumbler and see what happens or do I have to be by a lake or river?
This is my comfort channel now
1:58 did you find out what that was? Literally hundreds of them at my in laws on Lake Michigan. I don’t know what they are
You are so cool
I would like to purchase one of those necklace holders for rocks, in fact I would order 4 of them if I could please!
1:22 is that really a jasper? Wouldn’t it be not translucent if it was a jasper?
Hello
I would buy a necklace
That is so awesome! Thank you!! I’ll have to start making them!
