- Take the time to watch this if you're evaluating LeafFilter. There's a huge reason the inventor updated the design to a new product with a different name in 2004. they call an 11 degree angle a "slope" that sheds debris. NOPE. Needs to match the angle of the roof for anything to come off!

I loved the way you slam-dunked LeafFilter without saying one bad thing about them. Very clever and entertaining video. You just saved me a bunch of money.
I am the facility manager for a church. As i was doing research I came across your video. Best review I've seen. Thanks for the help filtering out a product from my list!
Just had the sales pitch, same thing when I asked about debris piling up, oh the wind just blows it away. After his sales pitch about how great they work and transferable warranty came the price. $6100+ , told him I will look at it this spring, oh ar you over 60, yes 10% off and buy now 15% more so now about $4600.
Still not now, so he calls his boss and low and behold big commercial job in the area so if I order right now will get commercial dicount it will only be $1999, but has to be now. Said no at this time. Huff and puff packed up and left.
Reminded me of the newpro window sales pitch.
Won't be ordering!!

Thank you for posting this. I just had a guy out today, sales pitch, not that great of an attitude...quoted my $5989. Then it jumped to $5100 if I called him by the end of day (It was already 6pm). I asked if I call him tomorrow, he will not give me his special price? He said NO. I tell him I don't rush into these types of decisions, he didn't seem to care. I saw your video and now I am not calling him, at all, ever! Thank you for giving an honest review!

I have a salesman outside right now. I could already tell it was going to be expensive and had apprehensions about the "slope" and pitch for the debris tip move off the gutters. After watching this I don't care what he says when he comes back in. I'm not buying it! Thank you!!

I had previously seen their add (I think on Facebook), so I read their email and clicked on the link to watch their video which took me over to RUclips! Was so glad to see your video (testimonial) was next up for view. It was superb!! I’m ready now for their phone call, lol! Thank you so much!

I contacted them about a free estimate the other day. They sent their closer to put his foot in the door. I didn't get an estimate. I got a full blown aggressive sales pitch. He went straight into talking discounts as if he pre judged me based on our neighborhood. Quoted around $6000 for 124 ft of gutter but dropped it to $4100 because they had extra supplies from commercial jobs they could sell me at a discount but I had to commit right then and there. (Instant red flag and BS alarm goes off in my head.) He assured there was no pressure, I tried to haggle a little over the $4100 but he would only offer to break up payments. He asked many direct sellsy type questions. Like what did you expect etc. I told him I didn't want to spend more than $1500. I said this isn't going to work, he gets rude at that point reminding me I made this appointment which I replied "for a free estimate." The whole experience was dirty, the first thing when he walked in he said my adorable cats face was weird. Should have thrown him out right then. Then the backwards negotiation ploy and 3 ring binder with page after page showing me how their company is the best in the biz.
Dodged a bullet I guess.
So glad we didn't choose LeafFilter for our home!

I’m trying to decide on a less expensive way to go besides Gutter Helmet and ran across this video...Ha, After watching it again today, that’s made a total of about 4 times I’ve watch it! Bravo! What a way to advertise your dissatisfaction with this company! I LOVE IT! Sooooo funny! Think you should make more with each product you buy that isn’t worth the money you paid for it!!! I too jumped the gun a bit with Leaf Filter and signed a contract with them that I will be canceling today. Did you have any issues canceling your contract with them? Did you have to pay any “restocking” fees up to 25%??

Talk about things happening in the nick of time. I was just about to call Leaf Filter back, when I came across this delightful video Very tongue in cheek! I laughed, I cried, I shook with fear and in the end, I felt badly for this lady who spend that amount of money and during this five minute video and still had to climb the ladder at least four times and had to hire people to clean it all out anyway. WHEW!

I had a Leaf Filter salesman over for an estimate the other day. Measured the house and we needed 194 of gutter. We listened for 1 1/2 hours of video and sales pitch. I told him right off that a decent price should be about 25 bucks a foot and he came up with $5300.00 which is way too much. Then he said how about $3800? Making it sound better. My mom said OK. I didn't like them using straps on the shingles as it looks like hell and they were using 5 ft sections which is a no no for gutters. Too many seams and they look bad too. The next morning I called and cancelled. He came back with a price of $2800.00 and I said no. Then $2000.00 and I said no! They wanted to do the work in 5 degree weather and snowing... not the time to be doing calking.
So...if we fell for the $5300.00 price it would have been $3300.00 in pure profit for him and the company... This company is scamming the customers!

I was taking a SERIOUS look at the LeafFilter brand... but I think I am going to check out the Valor system, instead!

Salesman just left. I was excited, sounded too good to be true. So glad I found this video looking for reviews, saved me about $3500.
My salesman just left. Price dropped from 5100 to 2800 in the space of 20 minutes. Told him I needed time to do research. I was concerned about leaves/pine needles/etc being stuck on top. I grabbed a handful and brought them inside so he could demonstrate how the water would lift the leaves up and move then away (his claim.) It never worked. I felt embarrassed for him. His explanation was that the rain pressure would be so so so much stronger. I replied, yes rain falls hard, soft and everywhere in between. I wasn't convinced. Now this lady confirms my suspicion. Thank you.

Think the problem is that LeafFilter sub-contracts the work out which leads to all the issues of instalation and any repairs. It took three different service calls to FINALLY get my gutters realigned, corner leaks addressed, and water overflows, we are Keeping fingers crossed that the issues are finally addressed. I do hope that the leakage we started having into the basement has been eliminated......mind you this drug on over a year. Overall we are not happy with the roof damage sustained through the repairs....they should never be walking on the roof EVER!! Now time to fix the dirt around my house due to the rain just over flowing over the gutters causing damage. I've grown tired of the whole thing of LeafFilter "care free" gutter guards.
So, do they have a 3 day right of recision? Maybe I made a mistake purchasing (last night)

Pretty disappointed. Friend and I both got this and had the same issues. Expensive but thought we’d try it. Small stuff gets caught in the mesh filter and around the edges and needs to be cleaned more regularly than the gutter itself used to. The stuff that’s caught is far more easily visible since it’s not getting trapped inside the gutter, but instead just sits on top (not visually appealing at all and looks weird). Worst of all even during semi heavy rainfalls the water just runs right over the filter and onto our lawn rather than into the gutter which has ruined parts of our lawn. Entirely defeats the purpose. Spent more money on it than what would cost to just have someone clean the gutters somewhat regularly, plus having to fix my lawn. Called to explain the issues and was met with pretty defensive hostility rather than the expected apology and possible refund. Couldn’t believe it. Terrible product and service.

Burnnnnn!!! Leaf Filter is so bad. The sales guy came with this very aggressive attitude and quoted my 6500, but if I confirmed it right away he said he could drop the price to 2800. I was surprised. A day or 2 delay from me should not make so much of difference in pricing for them. I told him I cannot commit. I saw a few feedback videos, and not one I found that was positive. After this video, especially the POEM, I am not going with Leaf Filter

Free estimate over $7000.00 I have a real problem with pine needles in my gutters its so bad the water is coming up and over tge gutters. I was sick of cleaning my gutters very year So I called for an estimate. He was at the house for 2 hours and demanded I went in to talk it over with the wife and sign before he left. My wife said leave the paper work and we will talk it over and call you in 2 days. He said he couldn't leave the paperwork . My wife said that s shady and no deal. Any companies out there that are not shady and really will keep small debris out and the water down the drain?
I scheduled for them to put on my system this week for $3000. Looks like I might be cancelling
