Agreed great paddling but I'm surprised to see old school design that went out for good reason. Such flat minimal stern, seems like you'd be getting squirted on any serious water (unless you're full on pro like this guy!)
the way i understand it its a way to make a known river interesting again, features that would be easy/boring for a creeker, are now more challenging btw the boat is super fast and turns on a dime
The design aspects dont get old, the paddlers do! The ripper took modern capabilities and transformed design that was ahead of it's time into a legendary boat. Long live the half slice!
