What a luxury for a team to have a 6'9" small forward that can shoot from 3, get to the rim with decent handles off the bounce, and finish strong at the rim.

Yep! I hope that my Bulls can welcome him for at least a season or two when he gets free agency, and if DRose and Jimmy Butler get stronger and healthier before and during his time there, they could be the next generation of the midwestern splash brothers like how Pippen, MJ, and Kerr were back in the day.

Chandler Parsons/ Gordon Hayward is an idiotic comparison. Trevor Ariza is a better one.

KD-like build, but he is more mobile than KD was as a rookie.

He gonna have to put on weight (219lbs) at his size with his fame this guy is going to be a liability in the post defending guys with more body mass I love this pick for the hawks if Carroll STAYS. Nbdl is all over this guy until he can improve his shooting touch and hit the weights hard

Would love him on my Hawks if Demarre leaves. Not as good as JYD defensively, but could be decent, and has a better offensive foundation with room to get better

StormyWeather21 Honestly, yeah, I could see Atlanta working for him as well since it seems like the best team that could utilize his talents.

I hope the heat take him or rj hunter. These dude is gonna be really good. Idk what yall looking at, but 6'9" with handles like a guard, shooting ability and championship pedigree. What else this dude gotta do!? He's right, I think he can play from 2 to 4. Why the hell not.

Dude cant handle like a guard lol and his shooting appeared out of thin air (gaudy ncaa tournament numbers compared to regular season). He doesnt deserve comparisons to a KD or a Paul George, which many feel inclined to reach for. Unless he becomes a deadly shooter or somehow his finishing ability translates to the league, he will struggle to be a solid nba player. I like the kids future but he has a lot more to improve than people give him credit for. Not worth a top 12 selection in this years class. Id say his ceiling is chandler parsons.

He was inconsistent during the season due to a sprained ankle he was playing on which wasn't completely healed until around tournament time.. And if you've never tried to shoot a 3 with a hurt ankle, well it's hard let me tell you that much

+Khali Williams right LOL dude he can finish on ANYBODY and has already proved that.

He doesn't seem good enough at shooting to be a shooter, doesn't look to have the speed and handles to make his own shot, he hasn't given much evidence or clues that he'd be a good defender. i don't see much in this guy that offers anything more than anyone else could give

+ToxicWolfBite guess u didnt watch the NCAA tournament where he schooled every person and team he played against. just to name a few: North Carolina, Oregon (and their refs), Arizona, Kentucky. and lets not forget Michigan, Michigan state, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Georgetown.

D_Thunder_2016Champs Mercer Hayward is part of his management team. Parsons was. It's partially a coincidence. Dekker is more Richard Jefferson/Rudy Gay on the optimistic side. But if you're going to make the obligatory white to white comparison, Hayward is as good as it's going to get.

I can see the Miami Heat drafting him, especially since Luol Deng isn't a great scorer and he might not be there next season.

of course 6'9" white guy, parsons comes to mind. but i don't think he has the same ballhandling as parsons.he'll still be a good SF though

Aquil Muhammad Same can be said for Phoenix as well, as the last guy they should be looking at is a scrubby small forward that tries to pretend he's a power forward at points when he's not even close to one at all that might have a career in the league as a bench player, but nothing more than that.

Only said by the dumb ass who has no clue wtf he talking about. Just wait till he gets to the nba and then we'll be able to judge his game.
