Just ordered a Great Lakes GL10 in 7mm rem mag, can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the video.

Hopefully they come out with an updated magazine. I really wish they wouldn't have went for proprietary on the magazines. They should have went with something already proven. Once chambered magazine inserted there's usually no issue. It's just loading the first round on a closed bolt. And the bolt catch area of the follower isn't quite in spec to lock the bolt back reliably. I got one magazine that works 80% of the time, and the one I used in this video as you can see if you watch the whole long video lol, gave me quite a bit of trouble.
Somebody who knows what they're doing with a 3D printer could make a better magazine pretty easily I'm sure. The magazines for these are extremely heavy. Empty they weigh more than a fully loaded 30 round 556 mag. They are seriously overbuilt lol

I have a glfa gl 10 6.5 prc, kind of confused about charging handle upgrades that will fit. Should I choose a standard AR-10 charging handle (308)?

@@dexteranthony2556 brought my 30.06 GLFA to a local gun shop this past Thursday. We test fitted AR-10 charging handles and even though they are the correct length they do not work. The two little alignment tabs that drop into the upper to hold it in place are machined in different locations. The standard AR-10 charging handle will not allow you to charge the bolt to the rear enough to chamber around or lock the bolt back.

    Thanks for the unvarnished post.
    So, acceptable for the price?
If you don't have illusions you're an operator operating operationally.
Remington Green Box now reminds me of the late, great Paull Harrell.

Careful with the way that jamed the tips it can seat the bullet deeper Especially ones without a Cantilever and Create higher Chamber pressures I've seen it destroy a bolt on a 204cal a 3006 will probably destroy more then just the bolt.

@@Lucysdad66 The only ammo it will be fed here on out is the 180 grain Remington core-lokt. The Hornady ballistic tip rounds chamber and feed wonderfully but for whatever reason are not consistent. The Remington loads do not deform the projectile but are the most consistent so far that I've tried. The other rounds that have a much more exposed lead tip that was being deformed, will not be fired through this rifle. The five of each are the only five of those rounds that will ever be fed through here. I also don't want to know what happens if that chamber pops that close to my face.
