So, to break it down to your itty-bitty brain...actor is used for BOTH sexes..only the title actress is sex specific for women and is used less in mainstream media.

For those wondering what this short was all about the creator Ciara Boniface (19 yrs) won a contest by Disney where she received $100,000 and a car. She plans to make Skintight a full feature film with the winnings . Also she wanted the short to be open ended to spark conversation. I can't wait to see what this story is about in full! Great job Ciara you has me waiting!!

Great story! Lovely young black female with no life goals and no immediate plans. This leaves her open to get hooked by "the chain". She receives multiple warnings which she tosses in a drawer. As soon as she puts forward the smallest amount of effort, the chains start to fall off. Heed the lesson people.

This is what I love about these films. Everyone has a different take on it. And everyone notices something different about it. When she broke the chains at the very end, that’s when I realized that this film was( to me) about literally breaking the chains of racism... and making a pretty direct reference to the southern attitude at the time of the civil war. “ you people need to get it together “ . Yeah , and that guy in the beginning was definitely not a black man. At least not in the story. Or he was recruiting other darker skinned people? Anyway, another great one . 👏🏼 👏🏼
