My doctors alluded to me the idea of abortion on my daughter, who i am currently pregnant with. I belive by the stripes of Jesus she is healed and free from sickness and disease in the name of Jesus Amen. I have been in church 53 years. This is the first time I have heard a sermon on abortion. Thank you. We need more ministers to stand up for the Word of God.
Good grief. This is the same "god" that had no problem m*rdering all the first-born sons that were living outside of the mother's uterus.
I wonder how many people in his church stop coming after this? I now use this sermon to send to people when they ask me to join their church. I ask them would your Pastor feel comfortable preaching this sermon?

Why are there so many different and false churches? 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion... “Man can’t tell a woman what to do with her body but God can”....WOW! I kept seeing this video and did not want to click on it, I had an abortion and at the time I was relieved and indifferent. As I grew in Christ guilt came. It’s taken a LONG time to forgive myself. This preaching opened my eyes . I believe God wills that I share this information with someone I know struggling with it. @@tthomas You’re right! Too few have stood on this from a Biblical standpoint. Now look at where we are in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned. The world is upset and churches/leaders in the church are agreeing with them. Thank God for Pastor Jenkins and Bishop Wooden(Upper Room) and those that are speaking God’s truth! There are many more who need to speak up. We must not abandon God’s doctrine. This is our lifeline.
@@tthomas Sis, but the overturning was really about the fact the white people are becoming a minority. If you study the numbers, 60% of abortion are had by white women. so overturning Roe V Wade was not about protecting innocent life. It was about protecting white life and control. I am pro life but I'm not under some delusion that that's what it was about
I’m pregnant now and I just had a baby 6 months ago 😢but I trust god that everything will work out in Jesus name 🙌🏾 family and the world judge me so bad and I’m not gonna lie. It hurts and just the fact that I’m going to have a one-year-old and a newborn people call me crazy but I’m giving it to God. I trust this process. I know everything will work out for my good.
Same situation am in , considered abortion but I later changed my mind and I have chosen to keep my baby regardless of the public opinion

I am 89, not on social media, because I understand the harm it has done. It isn't easy for me to go to church so I listen on line. This congregation is very fortunate to have a pastor who has the courage to tell you the truth as it is in the bible. In the Book of Ezekiel God warns that Shepherds ( Pastors, Church Leaders, Prophets) who fail to teach God's Word to His people will be held accountable. In the New Testament Jesus indicates that it would be better if one be cast into water with a millstone around his neck if he teaches His children falsehoods. Pastor Jenkins will be blessed for being brave enough to teach the truth with such grace and kindness, without watering down biblical teachings on this subject.

Thank you for sharing. God knows how this happened to you and yes He has forgiven you and you will meet your child in heaven. Be sure to have annual mammograms bc abortions, particularly before breastfeeding, increase a woman's chances of developing breast cancer and GYN cancers (endometrial cancer/cervical). Also be aware that many women experience a type of PTSD, sometimes years later. Don't be afraid to seek help for depression/anxiety.
Consider helping other women who are being tricked & taken advantage of in the same way. So many ways you can help through pregnancy crisis centers, hotlines, etc. Helping others will also help you to heal. You are loved and precious to your creator. Never give up.
Pastor Jenkins is very kind, calm and respectfull to others when he answers their questions. He isn't rude, disrespectful to them nor does he make them feel ashame or belittle them. An example. to be used by all of us.

I remember when I was in high school and I supported abortion because I thought it was advantageous, and I was a Christian. But Jesus changed my heart and my mind. Thank you God.
I am a Christian and i believe abortion is a moral issue..between that personand God. We don't have the right to judge anyone because we don't know their circumstances. Abortion shouldn't e used as a means of contraceptive. However, if there is incest, rape or the mothers life is at risk, then allowance should be made for termination of the pregnancy if that's what the woman wants. I can't imagine a 10, 12 , 15 etc being forced to have a baby if they were raped.

This is the most biblically sound teaching I’ve heard on abortion. Not only that…this pastor voiced what I’ve been thinking for a while concerning the progression of policies that legalize murder of the innocent. I was on the wrong side of this issue for so long. I thank God everyday for His grace and mercy.

I have never seen a question and answer session after a teaching on abortion. This speaks to his heart of wanting to help people. Thank you for posting.
When I fell pregnant at 18 I decided to take a "morning after pill". The morning after pill did not work, I am so glad it didn't work and God had my back like that. God is so amazing He already KNEW I had no idea what I was doing and that I was just a terrified teenager. The moment I found out I was pregnant even after taking that pill, I knew this baby was ment to live so I just let it be. I gave birth to him and he was rushed to NICU because he couldn't breath by himself. My little ninja STILL fought to live and eventually got out of NICU. That's when I knew his life had a purpose. This little baby escaped death TWICE and WON both times. My son is turning 5 this May and I am so happy to have him. His life has a bigger purpose. I know.

As a child of God I and all of us are Sinners and fall short of Gods Glory but with Repentance Obedience Submitting Acceptance Redemption Belief Great Faith the Lord will forgive us. Personal testimony when I was in my twenties I decided to have an abortion. It weighed heavy on my heart throughout the years after getting married I conceived two beautiful boys and they were and are the most joyful blessing in my life. They are both adults now and I wouldn't trade being there mother for Nothing in the World. I am so thankful for the Lords Mercy and Grace towards me and my sons he is a loving God who's always Worthy To Be Praised 🤗🙏🤗🙏🤗

I am a Christian and I am Pro-Choice which means that I believe that the decision to have an abortion is a decision that a woman must make with the consultation of her family and/or her physician. If she is a Christian woman, she will include God in that decision. I would not force my personal beliefs on anyone. That is why there is separation of State and Church. The Bible is completely silent on the issue of abortion and there are no scriptures that one can properly extrapolate that abortion is murder or even that it should ever or always be considered a sin. I believe it is a very bold statement to make that one knows God’s Heart in every situation where a women or teenager has to make the decision whether to have an abortion. I never had to face this difficult decision as a woman but I certainly do not judge those who have had to face this decision-only God can judge them; no one else.
Nevertheless, I want to focus on a couple of specific points made by Pastor Jenkins. It is Pastor Jenkins opinion and his interpretation of the verses that he read in the Bible that life begins when there blood flowing. None of the verses that he cited were meant to address the issue of when does human life begin, particularly in connection with the concept of abortion. I find it interesting that the majority of the scripture cited by Pastor Jenkins was found in the Old Testament. There was only one scripture that I recall in the New Testament. The fact that the Old Testament was cited means that the scripture was directed to the Israelites and includes Mosaic/Jewish law. Research for yourself, but there is nothing in the Jewish Law or customs that suggest that life begins with the flowing of blood. Therefore, to suggest that any scripture in the Old Testament supports the position that life begins where there is blood flowing is misleading and false. Indeed, the Talmad (Jewish scripture) does not give full status of humanness to a child until birth. The Babylonian Talmud Yevamot 69b states that: “the embryo is considered to be mere water until the fortieth day.” Afterwards, it is considered subhuman until it is born. In the Torah (the Old Testament-first five books of the Bible), the first detailed description of the creation of a human being by God points to the moment when human life begins. “Yahweh God formed the man from the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living nefesh” (the first breath). In other words, life began for human being when God breathed breath into him (Genesis 2.7). Additional scriptures in the Torah demonstrate that breath is understood to be essential to life; and that when the breathing stops, life ends. “And all flesh that moved on the earth perished, birds, cattle, wild animals all swarming creatures that swarm upon the earth and all human beings. Everything which had the nishmat (breath) of life in its nostrils, all that were on dry land died” (Genesis 7.21-22). According to Jewish scripture, the fetus is regarded as a part of the mother's body and not as a separate being until it begins to egress from the womb during the birthing process, and attains the status of 'nefesh,' which means soul in Hebrew. In other words, under Jewish law and their scripture (which includes the Old Testament), the fetus only becomes a person after most of its body emerges from the birth canal. The Jeramiah 1 verse has nothing to do with the issue of when does a fetus become a human being; as Pastor Jenkins correctly pointed out, God was speaking directly to Jeremiah. It’s improper to reference that scripture for the subject of abortion. Bottom line, Pastor Jenkins cannot say that God says life begins with the flowing of blood….that is simply a false interpretation of scripture.
The second point I’d like to address is Pastor Jenkins statement that abortion is wrong because it is the shedding of innocent blood. I found it very telling that Pastor Jenkins did not answer the question on the death penalty when raised by the member of the congregation. It was directly relevant to the sermon just as the issue of War and other instances in which lives are lost. With respect to the issue of innocent blood, God tested Abraham by telling him to sacrifice his son, Isaac on Moriah. We know that Abraham begins to comply with this order from God when a messenger from God intervenes and substitutes a ram in place. Yet God did not send a messenger to spare the life of Jephthah's daughter when he offered her as a burnt sacrifice to God for bringing him victory against his enemies: Judges 11:30 through 40:" 30 And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD: “If you give the Ammonites into my hands, 31 whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the LORD’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”32 Then Jephthah went over to fight the Ammonites, and the LORD gave them into his hands. 33 He devastated twenty towns from Aroer to the vicinity of Minnith, as far as Abel Keramim. Thus Israel subdued Ammon. 34 When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! She was an only child. In another set of scriptures, the Israelites shed innocent blood. Why the Israelites would want to dash the heads of infants against the rocks to revenge their enemies (Babylonians) , I do not know but we read Psalm 137:8-9 as follows: Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us. Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks." Again, this is an example of the shedding of innocent blood that God allowed and did not condemn. We also know that God allowed the first born of all Israelites to die in the book of Exodus. So, I share these passages to say that I don’t know why babies die or God allows them to die; I don’t know why women miscarriage or babies are not born to full term; I don’t know why a young 10 year old girl was raped or babies will die with significant birth defects or die within hours of their birth (like recently in Louisiana). Only God knows; only God can convict a person with the Holy Spirit to make a particular decision. Everyone is not a Christian. Indeed, in other countries, some women were forced to have abortions (i.e. China). Surely, one cannot say that this is murder. The one thing I can be rest assured, is that all of these souls that are lost are in the presence of God just like Jepthah’s daughter.

I am watching this in 2022 - when the topic of abortion/same-sex marriage has taken a front seat to all of our lives. Pastor Jenkins Sr did an EXCELLENT job at laying this down from the Word of God line upon line. It was not his 'opinion' that came to the forefront on the issue, but it was, 'This is what the Word of God says and this is how God feels about it'. This has got to be every Believer's stance - no matter what...and I can assure you - the 'no matter whats' are going to come! *Choose ye this day Whom you will serve and truly serve Him'....

I fully agree with you on that. The doctors had advised my daughter to abort my only granddaughter, whom they felt wouldn't be born, or if she did make it into the world, that she would have some major birth defects. Well, my daughter decided to go ahead a give birth to her anyway, and she was born with "Ellis VAN Krebles Syndrome", a birth defects that stunts one's growth, and unless they go through strenuous language lessons to be able to talk, they are also plagued with living a life of "silence". Well, I am proud to say that God has blessed this only granddaughter of mine to master this speech difficulty, but she is now in 9th grade and also making excellent grades in school. She has come a long ways in her development, and she is loved beyond measure by myself and others in our family. I thank God for my daughter's decision to go ahead and give birth to her. She is a complete joy to have around!!

This is very important teaching because it helps a woman to make the godly choice. But to have that choice is important. God created the tree that Adam and Eve ate from in the garden. And he placed it in that garden to give them a choice. Choice is imperative with God because otherwise we don't know our hearts. This teaching changes many choices. Amen. So true. In this day & age the baby can be operated on while still in the womb and babies can survive & thrive outside the womb when delivered extremely early. NICU babies can live outside the womb during the 1st trimester. You are right, even in the 1% chance that the mother's life is at risk, the physician can save both patients.

So would the child be evil? People who rape children are evil and possessed i think? Your comment made me remember that Jesus save anyone! And will bring all the innocent souls from hell and restore them in the glory of Gods presence! Thank you for your comment. Im not saying that we should abort children from these few circumstances but I was perplexed thinking about this! I love this church. And this congregation! my comment is motivated by my experience : most people do not understand the guilt that comes with abortion , I had aborted before and my husband was aware of it and he paid for it but I paid very dearly for it ...i shed innocent blood and the blood was on my head for years until one day , after i listened to a message of deliver ance and prayer , God opened my eyes in the realm of the spirit how a blood clot was dropped off my head and prior to that I saw myself been held with chain but the chain got broken when I told my children I had shed an innocent blood during bible discussion .....one has to pray for mercy and be convince the blood is wash off you by the blood of Jesus..
It's by the grace of God he were saved not by our works.
I received mercy after all ....

So sad that most churches are full of "so called Christians" that don't EMBRACE THIS TRUTH, but need to hear it from the pulpit. God revive your church and give us the boldness to proclaim truth!!
In addition I know a woman that was abused by her father, she became pregnant. She gave birth to her sister/daughter… these two women were best friends they were so happy together! Roman’s 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who live God and are called according to His purpose!

I had a friend who worked at an Abortion Clinic and she was overwhelmed at how many girls and their mothers were there edging them on thinking that this innocent baby would ruin their daughters life. She had to quit after a few days in tears. God forgives everyone who asks with a repentant heart. I hope all the girls and their mothers, boyfriend's and father's have asked for that forgiveness. I believe that those beautiful babies are Heaven with Jesus. 🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢

@@maxx_thedragondominator unfortunately the preached view here and elsewhere does not have the Grace of God where so much pain and suffering may be caused by a forced birth.
In case of rape/incest/medical danger, I ask all extreme pro-life this question: is an unborn baby lost to God? No!
When a baby is aborted other than these horrible conditions, the mother is the one that looses out on blessings and growth, the baby is God’s and returns to him.
It’s not God’s will and it is a sin, but they will have to have to deal with that with God. I wonder if by forcing birth, we have now shared in that suffering if the baby is not properly cared for…

My mother was conceived by a stranger rape. Her mother gifted her with life and named her Dorothy meaning “gift of God” and she was. I am very grateful my mother was allowed life because of her life I have life and my son has life!
