Hi. I made an tattoo on my arms on 28-5-22. The artist started tattooing on Saturday 10 pm and ended Sunday morning 6 am. After dismissing the tattoo he has applied Gel and covered it. Adviced me to remove the wrapper after 2 hr and wash with Doce or Johnson’s baby soap and apply the gel which I did as he instructed. Also he had given me Dermalize pro tattoo band aid to apply on Monday after washing and asked to keep it for minimum 7 days and clearly instructed not to let it heal naturally as the dermalize will help the healing writhing 7 days where in will take 14 days naturally. So I had applied the band aid as showing in your video. Then the issues started from very next day onwards ie: Tuesday onwards all over my arms around the tattoo heat pimples started appearing and Wednesday it was smelling so badly and pain was so intense. Hence I removed the bad aid then it’s been found many pimples inside the tattoo was opened and the fuss inside spread all over and was the reason for smell. This is my 6th tattoo and all are big. But I never had such experience before. Even today my arms is having 4 such pimples filled with fuss and I’m feeling like someone is still tattooing there and so painful. The band aid surpassed the heat inside and now it’s all comes out. Any solution for this .? I prefer not to advice such things to anyone . If I had let the tattoo heal Naturally it would be over by now. Also still where the pimples popped out the tattoo is pale white and not getting black..
The pimples will go away, a visit to dermatologist will help. Dermalize is an amazing product however this issue is known but it is very rare. In my experience 1 or 2 people gets this reaction out of 100. Also there could be many others factors for such a reaction.
Hi Sir, It's not very clear for me, the part before the client come back the day after. Just after tattoing we use dermalize ? and the day after we use a new dermalize for 6 days ? i listened carefully your video and i read all the comments and i have no answer about this part of the healing. I'm french so maybe i missed a part with my average english.
Sorry for that, so, we don’t Dermalize right after the tattoo, instead we just wrap it with cling for an hour till the client reaches home. Client has to come next day for Dermalize, we clean and apply Dermalize approx 18 to 24 hours after the tattoo. Remove the same after 6 days

( the last tiny small piece was applied without gloves, i know that much is fine but for beginners it is not advisable ) you rock...
There are couple of ways to do, you can keep it open and ask your client to take care of of it until next day, or you can put bepanthane on the tattoo and dermalize it properly, remove it next day and continue tattooing

Hello, got tattoo from aliens and applied dermalize after 24 hrs , its my first day, i see oozing ( ink spread ) while watching the video its clear that its normal and nothing to worry about, same the artist mentioned. But in few comments you have mentioned to renew dermalize. Pls advise what to be done exactly ?
I got a tattoo done on my forearm recently and followed all the after care suggested by the tattoo artist. However the dermalize wrap through the course of the second day is slowly getting loose from the corners and no matter how much I try to keep it stretched it continues to undo.. Can we replace the first wrap that was applied and repeat the process if necessary?
Technically dermalize is suppose to be put on the second day and not right after the tattoo, still you can replace it with a new one if it is your second day.

I am after all living in Mumbai at the peak of its summer and I think my concern is valid. Kindly let me know if I should continue with the Dermalize or heal my tattoo the traditional way?
If you have got a tattoo from us, come to studio and we will discuss. If you have got a tattoo from somewhere else, I suggest you follow his/hers recommended aftercare. If you take proper care with dermalize on, nothing happens, even if the slight rash shows up, it goes away in a day or two. I always recommend dermalize for my client. In your case, if you put dermalize and if you see any signs of rash, remove it and continue with normal aftercare
You should put a test patch on and wait 30 mins.That’s not a heat rash, it’s an allergic reaction and, at least with SaniDerm, it happens with about 40% of people.

If you see it on the first day then remove the dermalize, clean the tattoo and put a new one, if you see on the second day, check if you see any reaction or redness, if not then don’t do anything.

There is nothing to worry about, make sure the skin is clean (not oily or wet) before applying dermalize. Air-bubbles is normal. For aftercare we use Aliens Stuff, it is our own formula which works well for us.
Rest of the 6 days dermilize is clear...but what do you do for the first day after doing the tattoo? Do you wrap it in dermalize or you keep it open for whole first 24 hours?

This stuff seems just lije SaniDerm. I used the latter on my recent tattoo. I used SaniDerm’s recommended process. Put on SaniDerm when I got home, removed it within 24 hours, put on new SaniDerm and left it for 6 days. Actually about 4 1/2 days. My tattoo never itched, never scabbed and I had two very tiny little flakes of skin (1mm x 3mm) after about a week. Very important…. BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT PUT A SMALL PIECE ON A NON-TATTOO AREA OF THE SKIN AND LEAVE IT FOR ABOUT 30 MINS. This is to test for an allergic reaction. SaniDerm says about 40% of people have problems so this is NOT a trivial matter.
Forget about the aftercare.. that is some beautiful work there, sir..

After 7 days you should remove the dermalize, after that within a week you can go for swimming
