Thank-you for this video! Very helpful. So glad to know the breaker switch is normally on, i did a similar switch bypass to test motor really quick because i thought it might be going to some starter coil or starter capacitor (this is not my day job). Now i have to search for a replacement switch mine is failed not conducting.
Thank you!!! Mr. Wonderful. I think I'm in love. I've never had a man in my life that could change a light bulb without 4 or 5 assistants helping him twist the bulb. Anyway. Thank you. I feel better. I've just purchased a very expensive vacuum, and rug thing does not work, and, did I mention that the customer service is not service oriented? Anyway, you have helped my bad attitude. Thank you. Again. I'm sure I'll be back. Good luck!!! With the site.
OK. I have a kenmore canister and the power head does not work. The power mate attachment works with the nozzle and the extension hose so it's not there. I've popped open the powered and nothing is happening in there it's not the reset. But yet I had the motor replaced. It's the motor again isn't it???
possibly! it could be the lead wire that connects to the wand ( it connects to the breaker and the brush motor) it's not expensive I would try that first before the motor- if you had a way to test the motor that would be ideal but if not try the lead wire first similar to this (part number KC67VCMWZV06) check you model for the right one- a good place is searsdirect
@@monroevac thank you. I watched the video in full. I'm going to try and follow your lead there and disconnect the reset. I posted my earlier response BEFORE I watched in full. Whoops! Your instructions and explanations are great!
You may have to consider that it could be the circuit breaker the little. It’s a little. It’s a little red button that you would press or it could be the actual brush motor itself. Check channel page and search through the videos and you’ll find a video that focuses on rug nozzle That might be able to help.
Wow you have a twin and he is a grammy award winner 😊
Hmm

You're welcome
Now to figure out the smaller, staircase tool which has the same problem...
MY son pressed the reset button and the brush started turning again. He was so excited because he "fixed the vacuum" (wink-wink)!
