    Hi sweet Jen, My name is Rose. I'm 39 and live in Maine.
    I dont think I've ever left a comment before- however i listen/watch your videos often.
    I have always longed for a sister.. or even a close female friendship that is not based on the things that most friendships are based on.
    Long story short, i see you as the friend I've always hoped for.
    Thank you for always being just a few clicks away when i am lonely.
    A few facts about me:
    -I dont have kids
    -I've been with my boyfriend for 19 years
    -I love photography (since childhood) taking photos using film only
    -I adore my parents
    -I love to study herbs and plants
    -I started doing yoga because of you
    -I am very spiritual. I love Lord, he literally saved me and transformed my life.
    💛

    Hi Jennifer ❤! Thank you for sharing!!! My 11 year old daughter has been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa and it’s hell on earth also for me as her mother. She is attending the swedish royal ballet school and the children are watching themselves in the mirror all day long while practising ballet.
    We got help very quickly because she’s so young and because I was very insistant. She is in therapy now and also her teachers are very encouraging and helpful. Apparently eating disorders are quite common in the ballet world. I’m glad I reacted quickly and she is doing better . I know it’s a day to day thing ( I’ve had it myself when I was younger but I never got any help), it’s an ongoing journey.
    Thank you again for always being so transparent and a real inspiration!! You are a true gem in this world. ❤ Lots of love ❤️

I am thankful to have found your channel through the journey as it's such credible and honest information. I look forward to your videos and your content! Please keep up all this amazing work :)

    What always stood out to me about you is your slow way of talking and a low level of energy that comes across. This over time happens who people who restrict carbohydrate foods like potatos, sweet potatos, bananas, rice, mangos etc. and who eat a higher fat diet, like you. Omega3's are great, however if you'd eat a diet low in Omega6 the body wouldn't require so many Omega3 sources. The healthy carbs are low in Omega6. If they are the center of the diet, energy levels in people increase. You are still restricting by eating lower carb. Some switch from Anorexia to Orthorexia and never fully heal.

    • @water-dy5uu
      @water-dy5uu 4 месяца назад +3

      I think you have some good points about the carb limiting but a lot of autistic people talk differently, the speed at which you talk doesn't always represent energy levels (for example i like choosing my words carefully)

Thanks for sharing your experience. Its amazing to think that when i am your age i could have the kind of healing and balance youve achieved.

    Hello Jennifer, I'm your big fan from Greece, so excuse my not very good English. I'm obsessed with your videos and with your lovely personality. You look amazing. When it comes to food and the way of eating, I've learnt a lot by following Dr. Berg videos and tips about health in general. It's been almost a year since I do OMAD intermittent fasting and so far I feel very good. I'm not very extreme to choose only very healthy food, because sometimes I believe that if I want to eat milk chocolate that I really love but I know it's not healthy, a few times a month will not kill me if I treat myself with something unhealthy. And when I do that, it will be my last thing that I consume that day with OMAD diet. Which my stomach is already full and according to Jessie Insospee (which I've enjoyed her book about glucose) will not spike my glucose level as if I would eat that same chocolate bar as a first thing or as a snack.

    Hi, Jen! Your videos are truly helpful. They remind me of getting an excellent cue in yoga that makes the movement or pose suddenly make sense, and helps activate the body. Thank you!
    I'm in my early 30s and navigating the changes from pre-30. I've suddenly become more attuned to hormonal shifts, how my daily habits affect my immune system and brain health, how my thought patterns are important to explore. I was once a very dedicated athlete, always looking for the next physical challenge (ironman, long backpacking trips, hard rock climbing). I quite honestly viewed functioning in a state of depletion as a personal challenge or badge of honor. Now I've suddenly begun to absolutely resist that. I no longer desire to place my body and mind under such levels of stress. It's both healing and a battle sometimes. Your content has been such a companion for this journey. I always look forward to hearing your thoughtful and deliberate take on any topic. Thank you ❤

      I totally understand, liver is definitely not the most appealing food. I find chicken liver tastes a bit better than beef, much less metallic. But it still has the same weird pasty texture. I cut it in small pieces so the texture doesn't bother me too much and cook it with lots of onion, this way it tastes pretty good to me.

      Being vegan or vegetarian is lame tbh. Our body needs meat , eggs , honey , milk

    • @ScoobyDoosMom
      @ScoobyDoosMom 3 месяца назад

      @@0zfxWhat medical source do you draw from that our bodies need honey? Saying “vegetarianism or veganism or plant-based diets are “lame” is your judgment on people’s personal choices and value systems. That is unkind and is you putting your beliefs on the rest of the world. Many people adopt plant based diets for health reasons or become vegetarian or vegan so as not to contribute to the horrific conditions animals are kept in (factory farming), terrifying slaughter and killed for their fur and manage to get complete proteins and nutrients. Version animals (like cats) need meat in their diet; that’s a medically known fact. Humans do not. (And no, I’m not vegetarian or vegan so I’m not biased. I just respect people’s personal choices.). How is showing compassion for other sentient creatures, “lame”? I wish everyone would strive to be kind about people’s values and choices instead of criticizing them.

      @@0zfx I have a doctorate which less than 2% of Americans have so I’m not uneducated by any means. To make that assumption, simply, because I don’t agree with you, shows your own bias. I am quite aware of its antioxidant and immune boosting properties. However, it is not the only food to do that, and it is certainly not necessary for a healthy body. We can go back-and-forth looking at different studies and debate the matter all day, but I have a neither the time or the interest.
