Shortcuts Academy the line on the far right is length of skirt. I should’ve labeled that sorry But thanks a lot for the compliment. I really appreciate it. I try my best to simplify everything. 🙏🏽
Boitumelo Pula thank you so much for your reply, yes indeed it is so well elaborated, Yes my qs was a little something else, that the line extends till a certain point to the north, like for example the line of the waist was 26,5 to the north I remember and hips 30, and that last line it is? And how I get it
Hi. Thank you for watching😅. Notches might be daunting but they make life very easy. I always make sure to notch my project just before removing pattern. Just need to make sure if you didn’t leave any out
Thanks for sharing, I´ll be making this skirt this weekend I hope. I just wanted to know the width in the lower side? (how much should I extend it in the lower side) I hope I´m explaining myself...
Hey. The width at the bottom depends on how how wide or narrow you want your flare. In my case, I followed the line from waist, almost straight down (for that A-Line shape). Check video at 3:34 minutes🌻
Wow you made it so simple and easy to understand. Thank you for that ❤ Loved the vid! Btw, where did you get your roll of pattern paper? I'm finding it so hard to find such in SA...
Hey Kelly. I found my paper here at “Victoria Packaging” in Pietermaritzburg. You can check it at any packaging supply store in your area. They should have ❤️❤️

Hi there🤗
@@boitumelopulathankyou❤
Would the waist measurement not need to be the same as the hip in order to get the skirt over your hips?
glad i found this , very simple and well detailed ❤

At minute 3:16 a line suddenly appeared down (on the far right of screen) what is and how I know it’s length or measurement or height? Thank you

Thank you! I’m so glad I found this. I was wondering though, how do you deal with notches when you cut your fabric and and when you start to sew them.

Hi, I'm a beginner I just wanted to know how many of these pattern papers do we need to make for one skirt? is it just one?
Welcome 😊you need only one. But you cut same piece twice. For the front and back.
Thanks for the tutorial

How much is the bottom hem opening?
Hey. 1 cm hem
Never told us how the line down appeared
Hey. The bottom line is the length of the skirt. It joins to the line on the side
Did someone got the answer how do we know how long. The length line is? What is the correlation to the other measurements?
