I had no idea that there were so many different sorts of mint. Jim McColl from Beechgrove Garden used to say "Every day is a school day" and it's true. All I know about mint is it's invasive so it's good that you're planting in your tub.
Apparently there are many other varieties but I don't think I need any more. I already have an apple mint & a garden mint in separate larger pots, I haven't put them in the garden as yes they are very invasive, there always seems to be another thing to find/learn about with plants which keeps us busy I suppose.
