    Wow, your tutorials are like an insight into some secret knowledge that few people are prepared to share. I love your teaching style, you voice is easy and pleasant to listen to and I can hear every word. The camera shows all of the moves so we don't miss any that have slipped out of view. Perfect tutorial and I cannot wait for more. Your work is amazingly detailed. I also like the way you turn the clamp rather than just doing it with the direction of the round weaving wire. Thank you.

    I never comment on like any video but I have to say thank you so much for posting these. It near impossible to find good heady wrap tutorials that aren't super expensive.
    Also you probably already know this, but you're a great teacher. I finally feel like I will be able to achieve the wrapping style I want. Looking forward to the next video in the series.

    I had never seen any of your videos, but this one is so therapeutic and the piece is GORGEOUS!!! I USUALLY skip videos with pieces that are so elaborate, due to the fact that the few I had seen the instructions were hard to follow, voice break up and camera out of focus. This is TREULY INSPIRATIONAL. You made it seem possible for me to give it a shot. Looking forward to see some of your previous videos. THANK YOU FOR SHARING, AND TEACHING YOUR AMAZING SKILLS AND ART.

    So, I've got some of the patterns down from just messing around in the past, what I'd like to learn most is locking the patterns together while keeping them tight. In the future though itd be awesome to learn how to set the gems in the said locked patterns. I always make a bunch of the weaves, but can never seem to find out a way to get them all to hold strong enough to one another.

    What beautiful wire patterns! I've never done this but find it fascinating. Your pendants are outstanding. Very rich wire patterns that are so artistic. I'll never be as good as you. Stunning work.
    The only feedback I can give is to keep the background light so we can see the thin wires more clearly. The background is a swirled wood which is distracting. Maybe put a very dark gray colored fabric behind instead as a backdrop. This way, your hands and wires will stand out against a darker and more uniform backdrop. Other than that, it it very well demonstrated.

    Holy crap! I’m trying to do a wire wrap, and I can’t keep wires together how I want them, to wrap it. Then you “clamp” your wires together, and I think, “oh, I need to find a wire wrapping clamp tool thingy, AI wonder how much.”
    Then. I realized you’re just using a generic clamp! I have tons of those, and other plastic clamps I can use: genius! Thanks for this video!

    Thank you for sharing! I am interested to see the next parts in this series and the advanced ring making. I am also curious, how do you get your square wire so straight? With round wire I am able to either twist by hand or with a drill to straighten it out, this doesn't work with square wire though.

    • @RaftarkJewelry
      @RaftarkJewelry  5 лет назад

      Thank you for watching! I order almost all of my wires (other than really small stuff) coiled instead of spooled. this helps reduce the clutter of all the spools and reduces the amount of wasted plastic in my life, but i also find it helps to keep the wires from twisting while being packed around the spool in the facility! i use my nylon tips or my fingers to gently pull the wires straight

    What you have shared so far is wonderful and the visual techniques are so helpful! I would love to see how you attach a weave to the frame -- that is where I personally fail -- miserably. Everything I attach looks like a hot, mangled mess. It probably just evolves in time -- perhaps I'm too impatient.

    Can you make a video on how to adjust the thickness of the wires to the size of the pendant. Small pendants are made of thinner wires than large pendants. It is also very difficult to assess the length of the wires to prepare. Although indicative.how do you determine how much wire to use and what. such a movie would be very useful.
