Note on skincare: not everyone should use hyaluronic acid or niacinimide. I used both for like a year and it just made my acne worse. I don’t even know why but I used to have nice clear skin, then my acne started after I started those serums. I recently stopped using them and my acne is clearing and my skin tone is more even
Exactly, everyone’s skin has different needs. Many people break out because of niacinamide on their skin but u can take supplements instead if you want the effects of it. Hyaluronic acid is super unnecessary as an active ingredient, yes it can hydrate but so can other ingredients. Hyaluronic acid was/is actually mainly used only to thicken the product so it's not super watery.
Tip for oral hygiene: be more scared of the consequences of not taking care of your teeth. Realize that we are in a really great time for education about oral hygiene and we have advantages our ancestors did not, so we should use those advantages (floss, electric toothbrush, mouthwash). I never had issues brushing my teeth but I didn’t floss until I was like 18 when my dental hygienist told me that not flossing can actually shorten your life span. I forget what she explained but it was like, the bacteria from your gums can travel up the nerves in your mouth or something, idek what I’m saying rn but it scared the shit out of me. Also, I don’t want to lose my teeth. My grandfather lost all his teeth by the time he was 20 and I’m not tryna live like that. I want to still have my teeth when I’m 90. It’s cheaper to just take good care of them now rather than get them removed and pay for dentures in the future, or to have to do gum grafting or something
not to mention we ingest the bacteria, which can lead to gastrointestinal issues. kudos to your dentist for clocking it, and we def have so much more info on oral and dental care now! wishing you nothing but glow as you continue to make changes for your health :")!

I don’t really know much about curly hair but that curl cream you can buy is often damaging or drying so I recommend using self-made flax seeds gel, it is great for your hair and holds your hair in place as soon as it’s dried!

What’s crazy every time I brushed before bed I wake up with the worse morning breath my mouth feels so yucky, so I stop brushing at night. The only thing I do is floss at night before bed.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one LYXBAG Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
