How about a routing diagram?we got it but a routing picture would have helped
Okay but nobody ever just replaces the belt. Should always replace idlers and tensioner as well. How to do those? What are the torque specs?
This is exactly how you do it on the 2013 Dodge Avenger with the 3.6l V6. Just installed a new alternator and belt and it was the most difficult car that I have ever done, so far. There is literally no room from the top to release the tension on the belt, but from the bottom it was easy. Had to remove half the front of the car to change the alternator. No room to get it out after removing the bolts and wires. Had to remove the electric fan assembly just to have the room. The ac lines and electric fan motors are in the way. Very helpful video!
What size wrench for the tensioner pulley
A simple pic would have been so much more helpful.
Why can’t you do it from the top? Everyone tells me it’s easy?
This didn't help
Helpful video. Thanks !!
great video straight to the point
Room for improvement: anytime you have a car with 2 or more engine options, specify the motor you're working on. Will alleviate frustration and misinformation for your audience. It's half-impossible to confirm from this video if you're working on the 2.4L 4-cylinder (90% certain that's the one in this vid).
Actually you don't have to take none of that off
So easy but putting it back on was a ho.
I have a 3.6 model avenger and this video is useless.
