Note to self:
Make sure my next car has a more easily accessible battery.
I swear. 😤
Youll need:
7mm socket for the plastic splashguard
13mm socket for the battery brackets
15mm socket for the battery terminal
A prying tool for the plastic splashguard
10mm battery terminals
Cool video! But you don’t have to take the wheel off. All you need to do is turn the wheel all the way to the right and then remove the cover.
Who in the he## came up with This,my God.
It's good for doing mods. I made a custom intake bc this battery wasn't in the way
"There's gotta be a better way to do this."
Got it and i have never been disrespect ful to you. Good by.
How tough is it to replace the battery cables?
I feel like I could do this but have none of the tools. Might have to take it to a shop. 😢
I have a problem, first of all I didn't remove the wheel I removed headlight and fender clips my battery sits directly in front of my tire. I recently had to get a new battery and it doesn't fit properly in the tray, this new one is enclosed in a hard plastic shell the holding brackets are not able to be installed properly. So without putting the fender wall back on the tire is merely inches from the tire!!! What do you suggest I do??
Exchange for a different battery.
THIS JOB IS A PIECE OF CAKE. IT TOOK ME 30 MINUTES. USE SIZE GROUP 86 BATTERY. YOU WILL NEED A 7MM 10MM, 13MM AND A TRIM TOOL.
This is so stupid. Who thought this would be a good idea. I kinda prefer paying to someone to replace the battery. Oil change is even easier than replacing a battery on these cars
what a horrible design. this is crazy.
Lunacy
There are many dumb things in the world...and this is one of them...this just lacks common sense..😢
My son had a 2012 and it won't start at gas station. Can't wait for this morning ahead of me. Dodge, wth were you thinking? Should have fired the engineer that turned in these plans.
