I'm enjoying the video. Enjoyed the recap and thanks for your gear listing. I do understand your fishing vitals; minimalist gear and the need for coffee! I hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a happy New Year!
Great memories for you for sure and I certainly enjoy watching them since I found you I’ve watched every one you’ve made good good fishing and bad fission you’ve done a wonderful job thank you God bless you and I’ll catch you down the trail Sam
Hi, awesome clip congrats!! I’m from Romania, Europe and we are always using the metric system.. kilos, meters. For us, catching any fish under 10 kilos is considered to be relatively small fish. Fish over 10 kilos are usually medium fish (good fish to catch) and trophies from 15 kilos onwards. One of the great joys here is to catch an over 20 kg carp, that’s reason enough for a good celebration, but anything other than that is just “nice to catch”. Though most lakes don’t have over 20s, there are a few lakes here which are hosting monsters (even 30+ kg carp). I think it’s the same ‘mentality’ as in other european countries such as bulgaria, hungary, croatia etc. I think only England uses the pounds / feet system. So if we catch a 10 kg carp, it’s usually treated for wounds and sent back to the water no pics, whereas in england, a 10 kilo = 22 pounder - which most people will take a photo of.. I guess it depends on the region and the big numbers surely makes it sound bigger 😅
Yes, I think only England and USA use the imperial system. It's interesting to learn how people in different parts of the world do carp fishing. Thanks for the info, and glad you enjoyed the video!
Carp eat everything. There's no real skill here. They're not there to catch. They're there to filter the water and keep it generally clean. He also didn't need that oat meal stuff. They will bite plain old white bread😂 this video baffles me. I'm confused. Out of all the species of fish to go for and he's fishing for the least sought after fish in the entire lake 😂. At least try for a catfish if you're gonna fish for bottom feeders with some home made bullshit in a bag. 😂ffs
This is one of the reasons why I love carp fishing, because guys like you just can't wrap your little heads around it. Don't worry, it's not important that you understand.
