- This was the THIRD person to come harass him about fishing in a lake in his own neighborhood. Why can’t racist Karen just mind her own business?
#karen #blackman #fishing
Dude. I worked for a gated community years ago that had a big lake. They employees had permission to fish the lake on weekdays after work. I was a bearded hillbilly looking dude. I had several people come and ask me if I lived there every few hours when I was fishing
It doesn’t matter. What business it it if theirs’? They are still profiling people.
The fishing couple have ancestors that paid enough "intrusion dues"...If someone looks like a hillybilly-Confederate soldier runaway for instance, you should be questioned in the USA..
I feel like you people just make these stories up or exaggerate them to invalidate black people, honestly.
@@GraduateJLN lol...no "made up"...your quality of characteris not by any stretch universal. Alienated examples are all around, reality is not confusing if understanding all are not same spirited, nor can image others' perspective. #myancestorsspeaks
Stop minimizing racism. You only got stoped for looking out of the norm,Black people being "stopped" i for being Black s the norm
I live in a mostly white neighborhood and this happens to me all the time on my daily walks. The only time it doesnt happen is when I'm with my white husband. When I walk the neighborhood with him, we are never stopped, investigated or asked anything. For those of you who dont have to prove your humanity and worth on a daily basis, you won't/dont want to get it.
George Zimmerman, who chased down and murdered Travon Martin, had this same ill and uncivilized sociopath-like behavior. Notice no apology after the appearance the couple belonged and she/"it" was grossly out of order.
He never showed us, but even the fish were all looking and wondering, what the fricasseed-fish was going on.
"How are you? 😅 Does not care how the fishing people feel.
Did they live there?
Do you⁉️🤔
@@sincerejohnson7097 no. Now for my question. Did they?
No, they don't. His father is a homeowner there.
She wasn't rude so all they had to do is say his father is a homeowner there and leave it at that. They are the ones who were trying to cause drama for social media clout. If they don't like being asked if they live there, either stop fishing there or move to somewhere with a lake. Glad there are police officers patroling and living in my neighborhood that I know personally. I would have called them and let them handle it.
You can film anywhere in a public area
literally so tired of people doing this mess.
Karen was just Fired
Seriously, when are people gonna stop play victim and try to make anything about race.
If its a private lake , and the people are new or not known, it IS reasonable for people that live on the lake to ask you if you live there. I DID NOT SEE ANY RACISIM HAPPENING HERE. 🤷♂️ The lady was polite too. All the people had to do was say yes, over there. But no... victim mentality is gross.
Do you think she would have approached a white male she hadn't seen before fishing in the lake? The answer is probably not; that's the problem.
Can you list all the times this happened to you in your lifetime?
His father is a homeowner there. Neither he or or his lady friend live there.
@@scribe712 right. So if you arnt Recognized in the neighborhood, you will get questioned.
If its a private neighborhood and lake, are other residents NOT supposed to ask if you live there just because you're black?
How hard is it to introduce yourself and say you recently moved in to the neighborhood?
Quit being so damn sensitive!
Funny how she didn’t introduce herself at all or make any attempt at a normal explanation, funny how she didn’t seem to know what to do when she must be doing this regularly or is it only on the rare occasion that the person is undesirable?
No actually.
They don't actually live here. His father is a homeowner there.
In all honesty, someone owns the private lake and provides fish to the lake. If he doesn't have to pay the owner of the lake...it's a kind gesture to the neighborhood. Someone may be interested in asking you...is you from this hood my brother. Within some neighborhoods in Chicago, you better not walk down the wrong street as a blackman. May not sound appealing to most black ears, but it's honest
Why do these people feel that they have to stop and ask someone if they live there. Mind your business
If it’s a private community they have to, you don’t access to the lake
@@shawnboahene5231 There are better ways to get to know a neighbor...you pay hundreds of thousands to live in a so called "private community" should mean decorum first towards residents. Point: People untired of profiling without merit are talking to people very tired of their kind...let the chips fall where they may. America will never cure its grandest curse of social disease ownership. ..all suffer.
Because they're trying to keep people from using the amenities they pay for that those people are using for free. That's why.
And yet some black people were objecting to Jill Scott's rendition of the national anthem. Black folks are frigging CRAZY.
