He’s the boy wonder of international cricket, the kid who’s bowled and beguiled England to probable Ashes defeat and along the way put a bit of interest back in test cricket after years of tedious domination by fast bowlers. For the uninitiated Shane Warne is a leg spin bowler, the reason for all the excitement is that we haven’t had a good one of those for years. And Shane Warne is good - he’s on track to take wicket-breaking records when the next test starts on Thursday and as Jeff McMullen finds, Shane’s fiancée Simone Callahan will be cheering him on all the way.
