Who ever said 'real men don't cry'? Seeing Gilly shed tears just shows how much he loved his mates. He is absolutely broken. But he still carries on so professionally...
@frankensteinz2105 Not the time and place mate, not the time and place. This only makes you sound like a total dick and an absolute asshole, nothing else.
I'm a South African and these two were my idols growing up. I remember going to watch a test match in Johburg. Australia lost to South Africa. After the match we waited for the Australian team to go onto the bus, Roy and Gilly came to sign my bat and take a photo with me. They were so nice and I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life.
Cricket fans across world miss both of them. Warne was very popular in subcontinent and a role model for lot of aspiring cricketers. That says about the legacy of Shane Warne.
I wish u courage, kindness, light when it is dark. I also wish that you come out of all the darkness and lead others when they're in need of help. Love, from Kolkata, India ❤️🇮🇳
Cricket hast lost two priceless Gem Shane and Symond..I have been grown up watching Aussie cricket right from my childhood and now I feel cricket Without Shane Wanrne and Symond like dry desert. We love you Shane and Symond. May you rest in Peace.
Can't forget the delivery of warnie which he delivered to Strauss. The best delivery ever since I started following the game. Roy was just a monster. The kind of monster you always wanted to have in your team. The game miss them both. RIP, legends.
Living in the US, the only way I could learn the game was through RUclips. I watched Warne’s spin master class religiously as a kid. I could only ever throw one ball, but I have fond memories of bowling in the driveway trying to get my leg spinner to move like his.
Brings tears to my eyes. These two and other were my childhood and adolesent idols. Now they are gone and the others are rarely heard from and I feel lost. R.I.P legends! Hope to see more games in the afterlife!
As a cricket listener I feel The void Shane Warne has created in the commentry panel..will never be filled again. The greatest cricket team of 2000's has lost its two gems.. we will always remember you fondly ..LEGENDS❤️🙌
Shane Warne was just nine months older than me. Symonds EXACTLY five years younger than me, as we shared the same birthday! RIP from a cricket-mad Pom!
Warney was loved here in UK, we hated seeing him come on to bowl because it meant trouble but also loved watching his art. Once he moved into commentary box with Sky we grew to know him more & our admiration for him grew. He will be greatly missed. Roy, we knew thru county cricket & internationals & was a destructive player & fine fielder. Apart from BB not on our radar off field but enjoyed his commentary too. RIP guys thanks for memories from fans in UK you’ll be much missed
They are legends whose memories will stay with us forever...one is a magician with the ball and the other is a magician in the field and brutal with the bat... being an Indian always enjoyed watching Australian cricket especially during 2000-07..
Miss you Legends,You are always in our hearts,Loved you guys as a great cricket fan....What an amazing 90's games we got from You guys! Absolutely gems 😊
One day, everyone has to go. No one can live forever. But what do you do in the days you live is what defines you !!! They did everything what was asked and left a legacy. RIP legends.
They conquered the Cricket, they ruled the Cricket, they feared the opposition with their presence, and they will always be remembered as the greatest cricketers that ever lived.
Very few people have the power to unite people across the world, to make them fear and hate you but them eventually make them fall in love with you, to elevate the game where no one even dreamt of and do all of these effortlessly, RIP legends,. you'll never be forgotten
I adored Symonds. Even I used to tie knot in my hair as he used to do. Very few people feel the absence when you are gone. Those few with their eyes moist and a little smile whenever they remember you.
Tormented us Indians over the years as players. Entertained us when they were not our opponents. Now we, the cricket fans, really miss these two guys more than ever. RIP Roy and Warnie. Both of you will be forever in our hearts. Never seen Gilly so emotional. 🙏🏽💔 Respect frm 🇮🇳
I always admired the Australian mentality of their cricket. Their aggressiveness, their never give up attitude. Especially the 2000-2008 era, I almost used to feel they were invincibles, kind of super humans. Watching this side of them, makes you feel, they have their human side, which is too deeply beautiful.
Warnie the GOD of cricket and Symo the firecracker what cricketers they were!!RIP you two!!I love Australian cricket, Australian grounds and the overall vibe of Australia!!
I am an Indian, and Australia 1998 to 2000 team my favourite team......all the players legends......great players......especially Warne.......my Idols....
Missing those legendary cricketers of 90s era... awesome era awesome player's...their role to international cricket is unforgettable... specially Australian & South Africa cricketer of 90s time are unstoppable..
Absolutely adored these two. Roy was something else and is still something else. On the other hand, I can't get myself to see one tribute video about Warnie
as a late 80's guy I feel so lucky to grew up watching these legends playing for their respective countries, thank you all for the good times and great memories
As an Australian I got to enjoy seeing them play for my country, others had to watch as they dominated against theirs. I might be lucky in that regard, but everyone misses them.
@@SilentHotdog28 you know in an interview a journalist asked Warnie a question "which cricket era would you pick, 90's or 2000's"? and Warnie's straight forward answer was 90's and he was absolutely right 90's and early 2000's (till 2003/04) was the best time of cricket with so many great players playing for their respective countries and to be honest cricket was more tough and challenging back in those days and nowadays it's absolutely disgrace that t20 destroyed cricket and that excitement of 90's and early 2000's are missing, cricket will never become as good as it was back in 90's and early 2000's
You know what this shows? True Friends. True friends that care about each other. The golden age of Australian cricket will never be the same knowing these 2 are gone. But look, it still impacts Gilly months after this happened. It still impacts the world. Showing emotions is perfectly fine for someone who has lost people he holds very close to his heart. Gilly, you inspire millions of kids, and the way that you did that has inspired more. RIP Warney and Andrew
What todo it on tv , give me a break , do war vets go on tv all day …. No the remember in heart , it’s important to them no one else like when parents go …. This is more hits and money on RUclips , fact these guys don’t even know when line was crossed , look at Warner cheat should never of been aloud to have aust flag on shirt now complaining he is not captain… zero remorse money money money , I’ve met this man in business he is brutal money first
Being apart miles away , we always loved their cricket and our childhood was filled with their magnificent performances. Loved Shane for his charisma and adored Roy for this sheer power.
This team was awesome. I love that Aussie team. I can never forget the dominance this team created at a time and most importantly for a long time. I have lots of respect for that team of Aussies. I can understand the pain of Gillchrist.
I am a passionate English sports fan, I loves it when England beat Australia…. I cried when I heard Shane and Andrew had died … absolute legends of cricket.
It's really sad the Both men are gone , I felt a lot of sadness when Dean Jones passed away , his knowledge of the game and ideas , I always thought as long as Warne is around , we still have one of the great minds not just in cricket but in sport , when he passed away it was a shock, I really feel sad for Symo , probably the greatest fielder of all time , took athleticism in cricket to another level, had a bullet arm and was a real versatile cricketer. Both passing away has hurt the cricketing world.
only regret is people should have more supportive of roy, all this have meant more to him when he was alive and going through hard times. either way Rest in Power!
Oh..man..Gravitational pull towards the center of the Earth... I had shocks of my life after loosing these two..It cannot be explained...since they were not even my distance family members, I'm living in Sri Lanka.. That's much we love them..... RIP legends...Thanks million Gilly and fox too.......
