It is a secondary theory that is used in parallel with hermeneutic phenomenological theory. The hermeneutic circleis is a concept that describes the process of understanding alone.

For example, if you were utilizing chaos theory as an additional theory, your method would be a "Hermeneutic Phenomenological-Chaos Method" or a "Hermeneutic Phenomenological-Chaos Theory Study" - however you want to name it. The title of the study would note that this is a hybrid study and not a pure hermeneutic phenomenological method.
