You cannot tell me this isn’t one of those songs that just resonates in your memories till you die
It is. Unfortunately I always look up “paradigm” instead of Phantogram 😂
Well I can’t tell you that yet… 😂 never died before!
literallyyyy
True statement
i still hAVE DREAMS oops death, every night and yes yes yes
This was My Late Wife’s favorite Song. She passed 2.2.21 and when I come across it tears come down, along with a smile. 143 always
I’m so sorry😢
In our prayers 🙏
Bro, respect your eternal love for her
So sorry for your loss.
My condolences man 😢
I randomly heard this song on a road trip with my parents approximately seven years ago. It kept lingering in my mind even though I had no idea what it was it was and couldn't find it for the longest time. Then suddenly today I happened to find it. A part of me can die happy now.
The sample is an old song called “I’m ready” by Barbara mason
Exactly the same here😱 I ve been trying to find this song for the past 2 months, today is the day for me and its such a relief 😌
I had the same thing happen to me with 6 Underground from Sneaker Pimps and some Portishead songs.
Isn't it bliss when u finally find it tho? Happened to me with snow patrol- called out in the dark.
Truly a beautiful song 🤩😎✨
Great one, I am truly great full for this..
🔥✨❤️🙏❤️✨🔥
This song is STILL amazing! Hasn't aged at all!
I keep expecting a Kanye verse.
I listen to this song everyday!loved it the very first time I heard it all those years ago!what a classic!!!
Agreed!❤
Aging is not that bad)
I was part of a certain crowd that discovered this song/group in a much different way about 7-8 years ago (for those wondering, it was playing on a background radio in a certain amateur adult video). It was a fairly recent release back then and it took me awhile to find but is still one of my favorite songs till this day.
This is honestly a fucking masterpiece. I don't even listen to this genre of music, I listen to rap. But the production (especially the electric base, choppy loops and those violin breaks), vocals and visuals that go along with it make this song so amazing and somehow powerful. I can feel each rhythm and beat, every line of lyrics... It's so unique. Such an underrated song.
edit: 3 years later still bumpin this gem
edit 2: finna turn 19 soon and this definitely opened the floodgates for me when it comes to music. i listen to plenty different genres now 🤓
edit 3: my playlist is now at 85 hours. huh. also i'm 19 🤔
edit 4: 4 years later, this song inspired me to make music. have a good 2023 everybody 🤙
edit 5 (amended): since someone asked. i turn 20 on the 31st of october. lost my ex in a car accident two months ago so i'm grieving that rn. this was one of our favorite songs. ima keep pushing n working on my craft, but all i gotta say atm is love your people while you have em.
edit 6: boutta b 21 soon. time flies. i been dating a new girl (since last june), making music on the side, hustlin, n ima move out in november. things r lookin better. never give up y'all, it's payin off for me
I concur.....I'm a hip hop head, but i love this band and everything they do. Shit slaps too! Gasp!
Well said🤍
Because they both are such rap nerds, very into people like Madlib, J Dilla, 9th Wonder, among others.
Bro cuz they really chopped that Barbra Mason sample like a hip hop producer would've lol, this song SLAPS
Metal head here lol
Okay so I’m not the only person who thinks this song is literally addictive!!! 🔥🔥🔥
it's my favorite song

Phantogram is the most underrated group in the last 20 years. For this 69 year old married man I feel Phantogram has been a superstar group for the last 12 years. I saddens me I will be 2 weeks too early to attend the Nov 2nd,2022 performance in Las Vegas. I can only hope somebody out there will attend the show and tape it for you tube. Please, somebody out there please do it.
Fall In Love is one of my all time favorite songs. I love Funeral Pyre and Black Days, but their beat feels like I am attending a party. This group can do no wrong for me. They should have had some of their songs of the Pop sttiosns so more people would be aware of them. Phantogram and Sarah Barthel,I love you.
I left out "As Far as I can see."
@@is1531 I agree completely!! Also, I didn’t go to the show in Vegas, but I was just at the show in Tucson and I recorded Fall in Love if you’d like to see it! If you end up replying to this I’ll post it on my RUclips!
@@chloeobrien1165 please post it
You're not wrong. I've DJ'd parties, played Phantogram at beach parties, played them to my friends who listen to metal, etc. And everyone just legit fucks with them.
Some music genres just translates for everyone, especially stuff with heavier, chopped samples like this. It's just fun and good and you can't deny art that stands for itself. Just incredible.
To me they are still one of the best trip hop bands out there.
52 years old and this song cuts me like when I was 17. U guys are great. It feels like the Eighties, an arrangement that needs no words!
Agree!!!!
Said perfectly!!
Beautifully said.
I am 69 and my wife is 67. I can take this song to the grave with me. I am serious. Phantogram in my eyes was ripped off my the music industry. Everybody should know them.
Jimmy no lies detected. Errthang bout this song smacks of the 80s. Her fashion choices, to the arrangements. Swear the only thing missing is the keytar.
Omg!!!!!! I have been trying to find this song for 6 freaking years!!!!!😱
Wait seriously ?
Or is that just a expression lol
Alyssa Ackerman yes seriously, like deadass, i have been having this song in my head for the longest and still couldn’t find the name of it, til last month

Love
It was enough to recognize
To see
I was the reason you feel sick inside
Fall in need
I let you bleed
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry, baby
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry
Love
It cut a hole into your eyes
You couldn't see
You were the car I crashed
Now you're burning alive
Fall in need
I let you bleed
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry, baby
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry
Babe
The night has swallowed my soul
Could it be that I fell apart
It shows
The lines on the face ate away my smile
Could it be that I fell apart
Fall in need
I let you bleed
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry, baby
Fall in need
I let you bleed
Cause you were fallin, I'm sorry, baby

Phantogram has always been good, but THIS song... this song is the ultimate. The bass-line is fucking amazing and the melody of her voice with the beat is phenomenal. This song will always be on my playlist and never gets skipped
I’ve never skipped her songs before sweaaarr no matter what mood I’m in and which song comes before

Total agreement. May be my favorite song. We’ve been lucky enough to see Phantogram play live 3 times. Traveling this spring to see them again. ✨
This tune gets a perfect score of 10 out of 10. It feels like someone updated the Eurythmics from the 80's
and put a new spin on that sound and vibe.

It’s 2021 . I’ve loved songs but I never been in love with a song . The beat is amazing. Her voice , especially when she sings right through the beat in the chorus like she’s going through different octaves just sounds so good . Where has this song been some of my life !?!

I finally found you! Been searching for nearly a decade. This wasn't just a song I needed to find. I heard this at a club nearly a decade ago while my heart was being broken. I knew it had meaning at the time, but I didn't know the lyrics. Now everything makes sense. I moved on, but I hadn't let go, ya know? Now I can, and it feels really good. The song's dope, too.
Yeah you'll move on and if it makes u feel any better u belive we are are won soul mates that's y we were giving out own bodys because were all we really need all we got is us how u gunna love someone else or try to when u dont love yourslef

This song hits hard so badly right now. Fell in love with one of my best friends, we dated casually… I fell hard for her. The rest well you can already piece it together. I wish her the best regardless. She’ll always have a place in my heart. 🖤🌙✨
Wow. In the exactly same situation right now brotha. It does hit hard under these emotions. Heard this song on the radio today after a couple years and it did hit hard and different

Why are so many of their songs so GOOD...
nah Joe pmo this is heat. hearing on the pod for the first time i was doing the Ye head nod
Don't be so consumed with loving someone that you lose your sense of self in the process. This song especially speaks out to teens/young adults who are often captivated by the notion of love before they have figured themselves out enough to understand who is a good fit and who's not.
+Kari Glass Great comment!
Kari Glass ♡
Kari Glass i completely agree. Parents dont tell their kids that. Its definitely something that should be an important thing to talk bpuy about
in my opinion that rush is what keeps humanity still alive. Pure passion and losing oneself are the best and hardest ways to die. Then you seek for your identity once again

Joe Buden podcast bought me here. Fire song!
This song reminds me of a high class contemporary one level home in Miami in the 90's. Just the designs....I was trying to get off of Seroquel and Klonopin at the same time.. horrible decision...my doctor prescribed them to me for sleep; because I have insomnia, but that was evil and he should have never done that! I went through a horrific time in my life coming off of those drugs and my brain is still recovering.. I used to watch this video and "Black out days"... plus some songs from Jungle, Glass animals, David Vincent McMorrow, Chet Faker and the ALL DEPRESSING Alt-J..😞😞...I was SUPER SICK AND DEPRESSED...for some reason this song made me love and feel depressed even more...but it's beautiful! Thank God Jesus and constant recovery and healing from the Lord!
