    That looks like a garden for a family of 12! But I just heard you say that you share with the community. That's so great ! Wished I lived near you. My parents always had a big garden when I was young. We were poor and this got us through the summer, fall, and part of the winter. I live in a small condo and grow a few herbs. Tried tomatoes last year but no luck. Next year may be I'll try some lettuce and carrots and see how that goes. Can't get over how wonderful your garden is! Keep growing!

      Kudos for the Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Proutklarton Alive Products Plan (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one off product for creating your greenhouse of saffron anywhere in the world without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy at very last got great success with it.

    Thanks for the three sisters planting footnote...
    It was a nice addition to the narrative.
    Everything looks to be turning out as healthy as can be and thriving... and wow... you really got it all down in the garden, I always knew you had a green thumb, but I didn't know they both were super green. Can't wait to see what this all translates to in the kitchen. (Hint hint) or for another cooking vid...
    Cheers.

    Wow, ghost, scorpions and habaneros. Serious business! I like growing most peppers (sweet, serrano, jalapeno, thai, cayenne and habanero), but the hotter ones I generally stay away from. Other than getting late frosts here (mid-May), peppers are really easy to grow for us.

  • @gunterhausfrau

    I've always heard that doesn't like root competition. (doesn't really jive with them being "ditch weeds" near my grandpas farm in southern Idaho, but ?) so I've kept a bed just for them.

    • @AnneofAllTrades
      @AnneofAllTrades  5 лет назад

      Are you talking about the asparagus? You’re probably right, but it’s thriving nonetheless. If your soil is healthy, root competition becomes significantly less of an issue. In nice loose soil, things kind of just make their own room.

    • @gunterhausfrau
      @gunterhausfrau 5 лет назад +1

      @@AnneofAllTrades sorry, I went to get the spelling correct (my super power is the ability to spell any word incorrectly) and then got distracted (my other superpower is the inability to focus on any one thing for more than... hey look, a duck! I wonder what her name is....) yes, asparagus.

    • @AnneofAllTrades
      @AnneofAllTrades  2 года назад

      Hey! Good on ya for starting! I like them to have about 3’ between rows if possible, and I lay down cardboard and mulch to kill the weeds. Because most plants get much bigger than we expect, 3’ pathways make room for the plants to get big and still leave 12” of walking space :)

    • @alexandraderry7086
      @alexandraderry7086 2 года назад
