You should ask them to make the food less spicy or mild, if you cannot tolerate the heat levels but still want to taste it. Dishes looked authentic like we get here.
Exactly! Me being Indian i say it first in every restaurant while placing order. I am also not good at handling chillies, but definitely not like Korbin 😂😂😂😂😂
I can't believe that Alexis is daughter of Rick. Rick looks younger day by day. To speak about various types of Dosas , Spring Dosa in India is called as 'Cut Dosa' , Gurudutt Restaurant has speciality of making tasty Cut Dosa and that is where Game begins.

Korbin eats like e monkey.. with both hands, licking and all, with munching sound effects.. mmmms and aaahs.. just love it… he has come a long way from not touching food to this 🙏
You can customize the uttapam according to preference and usually the restaurant has different options like just the tomato onion, plain uttapam, with or without peas and you can request them to make it without green chillies as well…!! 😊😊

How could you ever miss sambhar vada?? With toppings of chopped onions and coriander?? Appam with vadacurry? Kothu barotta with salna? Also the onion bajji...corn and cheese dosa, mushroom dosa, cashew ghee roast, adai aviyal.. Some of tamilnadu dishes
I'm not surprised when I saw the restaurant name... Give it to Chennai.. You will get some of the tastiest foods in Chennai.. The sambhar in Chennai or TN and Andhra are the BEST.. Also, the varieties of chutneys they offer.. coriander, mint, peanut, coconut, tomato, fish curry is best eaten with idly, dosas, appam.. is the best fulfilling breakfasts ever..

Dip in both coconut chutney and sambar. Mix and match make diff combos with different proportions each time (esp. 2 at a time) . You might find new favorite
First thing we do is fold the dosa in to fit the plate and pour the entire sambar over it. This creates parts of the dosa which are soggy and easy to eat while part of the dosa is still crispy. When you don't have much time to finish the dosa, you just soak it in the sambar and eat it quick
@@csbarathiI'm from Telugu States, and we don't eat that way either.. Sambar is not compulsory for us but chutney is a must.. We even have karampodi by the side

Any restaurant that serves you on disposable plates is an instant red flag🚩🚩. A lot of Indian restaurants in the US have this kind of atrocious service. The owners and managers never train their staff on how the Americans expect a different standard of service.
You guys have to dive deeper and eat more dishes like, parota with beef roast from Kerala, Appam and coconut milk from tamil nadu, bisi bele bath with kaara boondhi from Karnataka and Idli with chicken curry from Andra Pradesh. That's 4 different breakfasts from 4 southern states. And they are amazing.

Rava dosa is my fav as well. It is actually very different from regular dosa which has urad dal as the base for the dough. Rava dosa uses semolina instead.
Great Video! Masala dosa is my favorite. Gobi Manchurian is also my favorite but definitely not a part of South Indian cuisine. @Ricksegall I would suggest you to bring Indrani to the restaurant. Gobi Manchurian doesn't agree with parceling, kind of loses its crispiness and flavor. Better to have it fresh and hot.
As soon as rick took Red Chutney by calling it Tomato sauce, I started laughing and was eager to watch the reaction. 🤣. 06:16 Yiiiieeew, You know how Sunscreen tastes.
Sorry the hotel manager did not explain the health benefits of Rava Dosa. Indian rava is the Hindi word for semolina. Rava is a durum wheat product made by grinding husked wheat. It's a key ingredient in many Indian dishes, including: Rava dosa, Rava Idli, Upma, Khichdis, Halwa. Compared to traditional dosa that you first ate which is made with rice flour, semolina based rava dosa generally has a lower glycemic index, meaning it causes a slower rise in blood sugar levels due to its complex carbohydrate structure and higher fiber content
reaction fantastic and funny dosa serving plate very small comparing to the plate used to serve in India that's why you ate dirt of the table along with dosa. there was no tissue paper kept on the table..that is the reason your fun went off the track. never mind in Indian restaurants these things are COMMON and considered as NORMAL 😀
