I bought my wife a Ford Fiesta ST back in 2013, after we got such a car as a press car for the TV show I worked for. Back then we all were so impressed with this car and had so much fun with it that I went to the dealer and ordered a new Fiesta ST for her. Back then she had the normal Ford Fiesta with 131PS and then she got her ST late in 2013. The funny thing is: I drove it way more often than she did 😂😂😂 So I had absolutely no problems at all giving her my E91 330dA LCI (almost full spec) and I drove her ST ❤ And I had so much fun with it ❤ We sold it in 2019 cause then our two kids were 6 and 4 and the ST was basically too small for the two kids, especially because of the fact that the ST only had two doors. Man, I still miss this car a lot, I had so much fun with this small car ❤
One of the best Ford products, also the Focus MK3 was the last good Focus in general I think, because the 4th gen is weird looking (I don't know how it feels to drive because here in Argentina we don't have it). A very good era of Ford cars (without mentioning the powershift issue lol).
@@akis510 In fact: Yes. VW Polo GTI, Peugeot 208 GTI and Seat Ibiza IV Cupra… But tbh I had the most fun in that Fiesta. Very cool little Fiesta! Seems a bit handicapped by the handling and grip, maybe cooling too, especially if the handling gets sorted. But if he sorts that stuff out, holy heck, little missile!

It's supposed to allow the back end to slide for better vehicle angle and control out of the corners, instead of under-steering into the ARMCO like an Audi or VW GTI Golf...!
thanks for your video!! i love the sound of these little 1.6 four pots.. what is the weak point of the cooling system on these cars?? water pump, thermostat, radiator or something else like a coolant bypass valve....?? my old FiST had cooling problems and my new lower kilometer one with heaps of mods (around 260hp) also has cooling problems..
Fiesta with this high HP that doesnt overheat, sounds like a good build. I lept watching the Porsche behind, was interesting to see hem pull away once they got by
yeah it's not what these cars usually do... IMO.. they actually have really good rear grip when setup correctly.. with insanely good turn in and on top of all that, the off throttle ROTATION... an absolute weapon when all setup correctly..!!
@meganjay30 exactly, a friend of mine has one as a track toy, running less power granted, but the rear end is predictible and can play with a bit on lift off when needed. Certainly isnt unstable though.
Fwd cars are always setup to be rear happy. It is the only way to make it rotate decently. I think they lost some power due to overheating, that thing was running really hot. Coolant was probably >145c; as 145c is what Misha usually considers "hot" in these cars.
@sp33dou sort of, but at the same time no. You can play with the rear end being loose with lift off oversteer. That is normal for a fwd car, however that was oversteering most of the time, not just on lift off. The set up/alignment needs tweaking. Which Misha even himself said at the end of the lap. Who has driven tens of thousands of laps/cars round there. Im sure he knows.

Why does it sway side to side? The front end looks sharp but the car seems to have lateral movement. like the rims are rolling over the tire sidewalls.
You were saying that the car's back end wants to break out, correct? But wouldn't that be due to the rear of the car already being stiff maybe due to a bigger ARB or stiffer suspension?
