I had never heard of Lincoln, but I bought the gold version the week it launched because I liked the specs. It’s the best strat Fender has ever offered. If this one had a rosewood fretboard, I’d be buying a second LB signature.

Was listening to Klove 10yrs ago because I just can’t do rock radio format anymore ! Made New comes on the radio , loved it but that solo just grabbed me ! Being a guitar player I’m always listening for mojo ! Loved how he hit different notes , not the standards , very dynamic playing & phrasing ! I never knew he was the guitar player for Steve Perry for the Strange Medicine album ! Thought the solos in 94 were great too , just didn’t know who this guy was ? Just a great player & from what a hear , he’s a good guy ! We do need more Brewsters on the radio !
I had one the GREATEST adventures of my life being able to watch Lincoln play in his basement so many times in the house out East End Road. We all knew he was going to go and share his talents with the rest of the world and as a novice player, my self… I learned more from those basement visits then any lessons I have ever taken. I hear ya - those guys are legends and those are great guitars too. However this has locking tuners, compound radius, 2 boosts built in to the guitar and silent single coils that actually sound great. I think that's worth $350 (at least to me)

I remember that day so clearly, There was a blackout almost in the end of the concert... they fixed things real quick and finished the show like nothing happened. Mind blowing solos with wah wah but what caught my attention was the presense of God in the church. He was already a worship leader and the guitar was his sword. It´s kinda Fender making swords too. And beautiful ones. Regards from Brazil.

At 8:09 ish, it really sounds Tele-ish to me. This is indeed a versatile guitar. I do love the Area pickups. I have an Area '61 in my Strat's neck posn. and a Virtual Solo in the Bridge, and love them.

Christian music needs more musicians like Brewster. It's become too plain and cliche with the musicians taking a backseat to the vocalists.
The problem is most P&W guitar players have mediocre skills and just rely heavily on effect washed guitar tone to fit the song
