    When you are new to Red Cherry Shrimp keeping, there is so much information, and misinformation, that it can be hard to know which is which.
    I don't think Red Cherry Shrimp keepers need to worry about;
    1: Water Temperature
    2: Substrate
    3: What to feed Red Cherry Shrimp
    4: How many shrimp they should start with
    5: Algae in the shrimp tank

    My son keeps asking me to get one. Between the cost of a chiller and the cost of the critter itself, it is not an inexpensive hobby!

      Yeah, keeping the water temps down can be a problem. However, here in the UK, the we only typically have that problem a few days of the year.

      Buy ice packs and let them freeze and use those or ice cubes

      You could use a fan to cool it down

    I’m definitely going to have a couple axolotls! I’m super excited to create a little paradise for them! I also thought right away after the whole thing about the lite and them not being very crazy about it is adding a few floating plants so you get the added benefit of more beauty and filtration along with shady spots to keep them comfortable!

      Yeah, I am thinking of adding some floating water lettuce or similar.

      If you mean heater, no, you probably wouldn’t need one. If you do mean filter, then yes, you would need one.

      Hi. I would offer him lots of cover using live plants or moss and by offering some hides made from rock, half coconuts and flower pots 👍🏻

    Hey I live in Central Europe but my apartment gets really hot in summer. In summer my room is naturally 30°c (even though I keep my windows dark, it's inevitable). I wonder if that will be a problem for the Axolotl? Or will the Water stay cool if the tank is in a dark spot?

    They look cute & fun, but I wouldn't want to keep a 20-40 gallon tank with just an axolotl & a couple plants & rocks.
    Although it would be good to dump some "feeder" guppies & whatnot into to keep those pops. down...
