My fun fact is also a reminder: Lesbian sheep exist. But the only reason we do not see them actively pursuing other female sheep is because of what they do when they find another attractive. They stand still to show that they are ready for a relationship. Just imagining two girl sheep staring at each other and standing stock still, each waiting for the other to make the first move is both cute and sad.

@@Skullhawk13 Agreed; I've actually done this lil' worldbuilding thing with the 'werewolf' packs in a book I'm working on. I'm not gonna spoil too much, but basically some packs have a natural alpha/omega, while others choose said roles. It's really fun to mess around with the dynamics once you understand the whole alpha/omega concept :>
omg, that explains so much why are theres fuxking "alpha" people, its because when they are put with complete strangers (or well strangers watch them), they have enough confidence to be thought as someone important and/or powerful, therefore they get control of people and basically tell them what to do with their lives
Also appearantly the whole "Alpha" thing actually sprouted from male chickens but people just connected the term "Alpha" with more stronger "masculine"-appearing animals like wolves or lions.

I literally almost started crying when he said "welcome home". Im non-binary and my family is extremely against that. I haven't felt home anywhere in a while, and so him simply saying that brought me to tears, and also several other people. Congrats OT, you made several people cry, tears of joy.
Same here, I'm also non binary. My family is homophobic and transphobic; I can see my parents are trying to educate themselves but still refuse to learn what is actually true, correct and polite (despite me trying to help them).

I'm a 38 yo gay man. I've been watching OT's content for a few years now. He's been one of the most wholesome and genuine allies I've ever seen here on yt. And I genuinely love his sense of humor. Hearing that legit gave me hope for my community and for this wonderful community that he has cultivated over his time here on yt. I can confirm as a person who went to Catholic school for a majority of the time I've spent in school so far I ended up being lesbian in the end.

Bro, I recently came out to my very Christian mom and when she heard I was aroace, she allowed me to lock the door in my room for the first time ever (we have a strict rule of no locked doors in our house) to help me calm down (I was super nervous to tell her, so when I did I was crying) About an hour later she knocked on the door, so I let her in. She simply hugged me and explained that even though we don't see eye to eye on a lot of different things, she'll always respect my opinions and love me always. The last thing she said to me before leaving was "No matter what you do, or who you are, or who you date, or if you even date at all, this will always be your home"

17:20 reminded me of one of my favorite stories about one of my favorite teachers. My high school German teacher was openly gay in an area where most people still didn't treat LGBT people very well, and because of that, a lot of kids kids who didn't take German said some really cruel things about him. One day, a boy said something homophobic straight to his face in the hallway, but instead of punishing him, Herr invited the kid to spend a full day in his classroom, to get to know him as a person and see how much his students loved him. He talked to the kid's other teachers and got permission to have the boy sit in a desk in his classroom and observe all of his classes that day, and when the day ended, the kid apologized to him, because actually getting to see a gay person as a human being, rather than just the stereotypes, made him realize how much of an asshole he had been. I always hated hearing people who didn't know him saying mean things about Herr, because he was legitimately one of the best, most caring and fun teachers in the whole school, but I looked up to him so much, as well, as a baby gay who was still in the closet and figuring themself out.

Here's my weird piece of trivia. Chris Claremont, the long running writer of the X-men who made the team famous and was responsible for most of their iconic storylines and for developing their biggest characters, was actually a pioneer when it came to writing LGBTQ characters in comics. With Northstar, the relationship between Wolfsbane & Danielle Moonstar and the thing with Mystique and Destiny. He actually wanted to go further and make those relationships more explicit but Marvel wouldn't allow explicitly gay characters at the time so he did a lot of queer coding. He also wanted to give Storm a girlfriend and write Wolverine as canon bi-sexual.
Speaking of Claremont and Wolverine, Wolverine actually came close to being killed off early in Claremont's X-men run. Wolverine and Thunderbird served the exact same function on the team, so it was decided to kill off one of them and this was before Wolverine was a popular character. But the reason Wolverine was spared and went on to become the icon he is today was because Claremont's artist was Canadian and wanted to see a Canadian super hero.

@@Thedandanman I'm by no means expert, but for what I know witchcraft Is a very flexible and subjective matter. You don't have to be of any specific religion (you could be catholic and a witch, if you feel it right...but you could also be muslim, jew, buddhist, pagan, agnostic or atheist, without it changing the core); there are some really useful videos here on RUclips showing how to be a closeted witch, and there are some lovely witchcraft channels that can help you start your path (like the Green Witch, the Witch of Wonderlust, or the Chaotic Witch Aunt...these are all women, but I know there are also some male and non binary witches). There are tons of books, but if you have problems in your household, I believe that videos and articles online are better, and way easier to hide. I just recomend you study a lot, because there are also many people that do this just for the money, and you don't feel to me as someone Who needs a scammer. Wish you the best luck, It might be hard in the beginning, but whatever helps you feel more at ease with yourself is always worth some efforts 💪 kudos from Italy!!
