- It's here! This Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona in 18 kt white gold with a bright black and steel dial and finally an Oysterflex bracelet! We've waited a while for this one and couldn't be happier to have it in house.
The 18 kt gold versions of the Cosmograph Daytona with a Cerachrom bezel are now available with an Oysterflex bracelet. Developed by Rolex and patented, it singularly combines the robustness of a metal bracelet with the comfort of an elastomer bracelet.
It is made up of two flexible curved metal blades - one in each bracelet section - overmoulded with high-performance black elastomer. For optimum comfort, the Oysterflex bracelet is equipped with cushions on its inner sides and an Oysterlock safety clasp to prevent accidental opening. Its length may be adjusted via the ingenious Rolex Glidelock extension system.
This model features a bright black and steel dial with snailed counters, 18 kt gold applique hour markers and hands with a Chromalight display, a highly-legible luminescent material.
The central sweep seconds hand allows an accurate reading of 1/8 second, while the two counters on the dial display the lapsed time in hours and minutes. Drivers can accurately map out their track times and tactics without fail.

Just picked up the "neo Paul Newman" this past Friday and my goodness it's incredible.
I’ve owned this model for a few months now and I appreciate it more day after day. Stunning piece. Heavy but balanced. Reminds you of what you’re wearing. Definitely wears bigger than previous models. Indices are zenith nod throw back and frame the dial beautifully.
I am so lucky that I own 116509 and 126508 Paul Newman dial from AD. Both of them are my favorites, can’t tell which one is better.

I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of NKUWAN . Their timepieces are of exceptional quality.
It feels bigger, because it is bigger. The new cases are approx 1,5mm larger than the older cases. Even though rolex said 40mm for the older models we all know it was more like 38,5mm.
yes! exactly! we should have used the caliper to measure it and show that.

i'm just a poor guy who only has some ss Rolex models and patiently waiting for ss panda daytona. BUT this WG Daytona is the best Daytona so far (except Le Mans which is unobtainable for ordinary people, older Patrizzi and porcelain zenith daytona are from different universe, so i don't compare to them).

Nice watch. My favourite chronograph movement is the old Lemania CH 27, had it in 1930s Tissot column wheel pieces, also in a later version in the 321 Speedies, even made it to Patek, VC and Breguet ! As for modern Daytona, it's not for me, the emotion is not there.

The best Daytona, for sure, but not the best chronoraph. The best chronograph movement ever is the Seiko 7-T‐92, and a chronograph equipped with this movement should cost no more than $ 150.😂

A watch in which the hype out does the actual watch. There are so many better watches than this but the marketing over takes the quality
in that price range for gold and the iconic model of a daytona im not sure if theres a better watch to buy. but as far as marketing ROLEX is the KING of it all. they are marketing genius and thats why the brand has sustained the recognition over the years and their price points.
better watches maybe but ones that will hold its price and possibly go up in value over time?

Just picked up a panda Daytona a couple of days ago from my AD. I’m not a big spender by any means (compared to a lot of their clients). Just be personable and consistent. I’ve been offered 5 watches in the last 2 and 1/2 years. I’d also recommend going to a family owned AD rather than the corporate Watches of Switzerland/London Jewelers stores that have extremely wealthy clients and solely focused on maximizing their store’s profit
The production values of the video was great, but the content in relation to what you had to say let it down. Be more concise, the video could've been half the length due to all the "erm" and pauses.
Too much text at 12 o'clock. No display case back. No drilled lugs. Too small for a man to wear. No thanks.

Fully agree. I am not one of the 16cm wrist guys who likes to wear 38,6mm watches.
