I lost my father, my best friend on October 6,2008, and there's not a single day going by without me wiping the tears as it seems like time has no effect on such pain: Dear dad, I look forward someday to reunite with you. Until then, keep being my guardian angel.
Righteous God You’re disgusting. What a joke, there’s nothing righteous about you. Easy to kick a man when he’s down. And a funeral insult is the lowest you can go.
I don't get how he didn't just break down crying and instead just choked a bit. He must be a very strong man to go up there and speak about his father and not break down. This is beyond me
he breaks down when he heads back to the pew. If you watch as he is finishes he chokes up and tries to control his emotions and when he gets to the pew he is crying.
That’s what I loved about President G. W. Bush, you could always bet he was gonna lose it when ever he’d be doing speech’s after 911, for the people who died then , and all the other disasters he had to preside over.
It's also a celebration of his father's life that he lived. I delivered my grandfather's eulogy and I was choking up but didn't break down because I told the stories of love and humor. A funeral shouldn't always be sad in constant grieving but also celebrating the life of a loved one that's lived a long life. RIP Mr. President.
Not everyone cries when their dad cries (unfortunately for various reasons). It is okay to cry, therefore it should be okay to write that he cried. Now had he not cried (in public) it wouldn't necessarily meant he didn't care. People may display different reactions but in the end what matters is he really loved his pops and his mom, and this is two losses in months for him.
I served in the Army from 1986 - 2006 and President's Bush (41) and Bush (43) were both my Commanders in Chief. All politics aside, one cannot watch and hear the words of Pres. George H.W. Bush's son and not feel empathy for him as a human being. It is incredibly difficult to eulogize a parent and Pres. Bush did an amazing job. My deepest condolences are extended to the Bush family as they mourn the loss of their family member.
Agree. He was trying so hard not to lose it the entire time. I cry just thinking about this day for either of my parents. *"It is incredibly difficult to eulogize a parent"* and to do it in front of the whole nation. I always liked Bush, he may not have been the best president but his little quirks always make me smile. Like when he tells a joke he always smirks just a bit, when everyone laughs, like he's gonna write that one down in his joke book.
I don't care about political views, in this moment in time I just see human beings. I see a son who lost his dad and is grieving and I can feel the pain.
Carol Loraine political views aside what about the amounts of murder and innocent Iraqis, panamanians, afghanis, Somalis, Haitians, African Americans and more that died should they not be remembered? Or is it true what Stalin said “ a million deaths are but a statistic, 1 death is a tragedy”
I didn't support W while he was President, but I always believed that he was a decent man. This eulogy for his father is a wonderful example of that fact. I just wish other Presidents are as decent of a human being.

his great grandmother (barbra bushes mom) was in a cult with Alister crowley, Allister crowley was a satanist who believed he could achieve to have magical powers through communicating with evil spirits, unleashing them onto this world, and make deals with them to have powers. see the documentary for yourself on RUclips. or search Barbra Bush and alister crowley. those ideologies kept going in the family, it's in their blood. bad satanists who believe through human sacrifice they can achieve ascension.
Not a fan of either Bush's administration, but this family is class. Well done W.
A class of war mongering parasites, he will burn in hell if there is one
A class of heroin importing CIA director and his satanic descendants. Along with his cocaine importing former governor of Arkansas and satanic wife. In the class of a Kenyan born Manchurian candidate and his transgender wife. Let me offer you a tissue for your crocodile tears.
dannyd1572 class of nazis
Righteous Rockefeller’s Rothschild’s too
Class? I can guess ur class by this comment.
George W. Is a wonderful man. God bless you ALL.
Great speech by a son in grief for his late father! I am very sorry for his loss to this day!
He killed millions in Iraq and didn't give a single shit about American soldiers dying for oil.
Edit : I was talking about George W. Bush
Mr. K dumbass
If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. The
Loss of a loved one is painful.
@@sandycalderhead2928 I guess you don't know how this murderer made millions loss a loved one.
@@ak475008396 So how much oil did they take ?
Death is inevitable but it’s less sad when you live to your 90s, have a long marriage and a great family & career.
At least they passed peacefully and not young and badly.
I don't know how anyone can think it's less or more sad death is a death it's sad either way I don't understand the logic here but okay
vera daly he’s just trying to point the positive of the negative
@@hebxhn1203 Exactly
@@veroulinakesto6879 If your mom or sister died at age 90 you'd be sad but happy she lived a full rich life. If she was gunned down or raped or died from overdose or some drunk driver/ texting and driving soulless dipshit, you'd be angry and sad knowing she suffered. It's simple really really simple logic. And that's exactly what it is a logical thought.
This thread is full of retards and assholes and missed the whole point
I never thought a speech by George W. Bush could bring tears to my eyes. May his father rest in peace.
Kakarot Lifted rest assured, he won’t
@@jubhgioubgob yah no god and all
Yeah, I've held a burning hatred for him and his family for the last 15 years or so. Maybe hate isn't the best way forward. Maybe I'm just emotional and not thinking clearly who knows. Either way, really nice speech.
It's a son mourning his father, that's why. It's sad.
@@delraybrewer exactly.
The unconditional love they have for their family is really nice to see
War crimnals and murderes of jfk

Oof, that ending was difficult.
I know that pain. I delivered my sisters eulogy. You think you have it under control but when it comes to delivering the lines of what that person meant to you...there is no amount of self control that will keep the tears back.
@@bunkman64 so sorry to hear that I can't even imagine myself being in this position.. I broke down when one of the best friends I've ever had committed suicide.
Showed his humanity-- and the great love he had for his dad.
I dint see this monster crying for the 250k innocent Iraq that he killed
@@elevatorofhell9533 of course not, they weren't his father
I don't consider Bush the smartest guy out there, I don't think any of us do, but I think he is a genuine dude. I think he got taken advantage of in office because of his good nature by the ruthlessness and insidious intellect of Cheney, Rove and the like.
George W is charismatic which is the biggest ingredient to being president. Obama, Trump, and Clinton also have those traits along with Reagan. Truth be said the older Bush never was that charismatic to me. Maybe that's why he was only president for 4 years losing to Clinton when he tried for reelection
He also murdered thousands but let's sweep that under the rug.. right!? Destroyed many homes, but who cares.. Right? That's the Murican' way!
