  • Former President George W. Bush tears up while eulogizing his father, George H.W. Bush, at a state funeral in Washington.
The 43rd president said his father, the 41st president, taught him how to lead.
"He showed me what it means to be a president who serves with integrity, leads with courage and acts with love in his heart for the citizens of our country," Bush said. "When the history books are written, they will say that George H.W. Bush was a great president of the United States."
Bush's eulogy ended on an emotional note. Concluding his remarks, he added through tears: "Your decency, sincerity and kind soul will stay with us forever. So through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble man. The best father a son or daughter could have."

I WILL say what I want about this man, George H.W. Bush.
He was a conspirator and participant in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. How's THAT for a patriot. Cheers for subverting the most scared part of this glorious democracy. Overthrowing a duly elected president and giving the finger to the sacred votes of the American people.
MOST Americans don't know this but the information is out there for those who want to find it.

I held it for as long as I could as I didn't want to be a blubbering mess. When I got to 'you were like a Christmas tree or bouquet of flowers that made the world a prettier place I cried. Then regrouped and said our memories, times and experiences we will treasure always, so so long Mum, we love you always x I touched Mums coffin on my way back to my seat in the front row beside my brother and Dad. It’s a horrible thought, but the time will come for everyone who reads this, or watches this video to do the very same for their parents or loved ones. It’s true when they say nothing can prepare you for the leap that is loosing a parent no matter their age. The security they offer us even in adult life for those lucky enough to have parents around until they’re a mature adult. It’s a huge step in all of our lives and if I can manage a speech even half as good as this for my parents when the time comes, Ill be satisfied I’ve given them a good send off. 🙂

I served in the Army from 1986 - 2006 and President's Bush (41) and Bush (43) were both my Commanders in Chief. All politics aside, one cannot watch and hear the words of Pres. George H.W. Bush's son and not feel empathy for him as a human being. It is incredibly difficult to eulogize a parent and Pres. Bush did an amazing job. This was the deepest Eulogy I have seen. Life is short and we will all go someday. Let's just remember that we are all human. George W Bush did his dad proud.
