The machines have a drain pipe behind them that goes into the master drain for your facility. For many machines that are installed next to each other like in a laundromat there is typically a drain trough that each machine drains into. For individual machines the pipe is sufficient.
It would take a significant amount of time and effort for someone to walk off with a washing machine before authorities arrived. These machines would still require equipment to move them they just don't need the additional infrastructure that a hard mount requires.
@@GirbauNorthAmerica thanks for the reply. Did a little more research and these extractors do have their share of benefits giving a hard mount a run for its money.
The grout also acts as a leveling agent. No floor is level. And without proper anchors / installation your machine starts to develop vibration that carries through to your controls, bearings and will begin to pull the anchors themselves from the floor.
Are these machines draining onto the floor drain behind the machine?

Soft mount seems like they can disappear from your laundromat easily. With these machines costing 4-10k I need a hard mount.

Put that part on cars
I think that grouting is a bunch of bullshit. Just need a few bolts to peg it in place and it isn't going anywhere.
