Arkham city final boss battle was amazing, showed how much of a threat clayface would be.
Clayface is a great bad guy. The episode "Growing Pains" in the Animated Series is the best Clayface episode for me.

It’s the only form of relevance they have. Alvarez of all the people (Wrestling Observer) did a similar thing just yesterday on his show as well. Just calling out Jim and his fans for having an opinion; the right opinion.
If you look at the way Omega's matches are, it's exactly like playing an RPG. You hit, and punch, and do special moves, and counters, and rest, and heal, and repeat, and get to the point of being beaten, only to let your limit gauge fill up and execute the final attack on your opponent, just as you're down to 1HP. That's why his matches don't make logical sense. He wrestles with hit points. As long as you don't drop to 0, you're good.
His matches are definitely like fighting games. Nothing leaves a lasting effect, you just keep hitting until the HP is 0

In defense of Mr Omega, even back in the 80s when I first started watching WWF I considered Pro-Wrestling to be the closest we'll ever come to true life (no CGI needed) comic book super hero fights. That said, the idea that it took Omega watching animated TV super hero shows to figure out that matches should have a beginning, middle and ending is mind boggling.
Hogan was the superhero and Andre was the supervillan when I was a 5yr old just discovering pro wrestling

@@James-if3kc I think it comes down to how many of the dudes there want to throw away and ignore tradition and the history of wrestling. when they, as jim states, could still take inspiration outside of wrestling but apply it to the fundamentals of what wrestling is. people take wrestling as seriously as they train the audience to take it. its an all encompassing effort of presentation and the skills of the performers involved

Speaking of Batman, Arkham City cost $100M. Omega’s crowning achievement with Fight Forever is still under development at $80M.
That game went over $80 million a few months ago. It was only supposed to cost $20 million.

Rocksteady Studios was barely in the industry for a couple of years when they got the Arkham series on their laps. Here, we have a new game with an old studio which is an advantage because an old studio would be having the Engine and the AI ready to go. Which makes the delays of its release even sillier.
