I kinda discovered the game virtually the same way you did. I ended up getting it with Cultic and the remaining games in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. Honestly, this game quickly grew on me fast. Yes it has a few notable issues but it's incredibly well made.
Cultic is another badass game!

Im glad this little gem is getting more attention and i hope they expand it or they make a sequel...
Check out Dismantled :Director's Cut..its cheap and worth it..10 plus hr visceral and unflinching survival horror, it captures that Manhunt dread and criminally underrated.

Awesome review my dude! I absolutely loved this game, I actually beat it in one sitting. I agree that some parts of the game/some enemies are somewhat annoying. Tbh though, I actually quite enjoyed the boss fights. I just love the old survival horror style, even fixed cameras and tank controls. Lost in Vivo is another similar and fantastic game, a little more polished overall I would say. You got a sub from me :)
