Your words mean so much! Thanks a lot ❤️ I truly appreciate your time and attention to the details, and I'm super happy to read that you'll try it as well!!
Definitely. I would cook it in a water bath (Bain Marie)! Probably will require 30 mins at 350F. Then leave it in the oven to continue cooking and cool for 3-4 hours
Hello Richard! Hope you are fine :) Thank you very much - this is so encouraging to read! Stay blessed and I wish you the best as we prepare for Christmas 🎄💫
Very interesting recipe a hybrid cross between Flan and Bread Pudding!👍 I will mention a better way to combine the Egg mixture with the hot Milk. In the manner you show, it is possible to cook some of the egg and have hard egg lumps in it. A better way that professional chefs would do this: Take about 1/2 to 3/4 Cup of the hot milk. Slowly pour that into the eggs while whisking. Then once that is combined, pour the hot mixture into the eggs again while mixing. This is called Tempering. It brings the temperature up gradually and you won’t risk cooking your eggs. Remember the Chinese have Egg Drop Soup, where they pour eggs into hot soup. You don’t want that!
Christmas Carol's, Playing The First Noel. A glossy Caramel is sizzling, Milk, eggs and custard get a whipping. The cooked mixture is strained, Before being transferred to a mould. Seal well and pressure cook, It's now ready take a look. Isn't that a delightfully delicious Caramel Pudding???😋😋😋💕💕💛💛👌👌
Thank you so much Janice! How lovingly penned-it shows your attention to every step and that is so gratifying! Hope your Christmas prep is going on brilliantly ❤️🎄💞
Actually no. This is the same technique as used in Mexican Flan. The Sugar, seems to absorb some of the moisture of the custard mix. See my comment regarding the addition of the eggs however!

after chilling won't the caramel become hard again?
