It was a good thing Takahito noticed Fuuka and saved her from getting a heatstroke otherwise things could have been bad for her. But I gotta admit, Takahito was the best part of the story. The way he invited Fuuka to his house. There wasn’t even the slightest hesitation and he wasn’t embarrassed and flustered by the fact that he invited a girl over to his house. I think the reason he was always telling her to sleep is he was probably worried she will get a heatstroke that it became a duty for him.
It’s great that he defended her and I hope those rumors die. But the last part was definitely obvious but I don’t know how he didn’t notice. Hopefully he will notice soon

There is a difference between middle-eastern mostly dry heat and Japanese humid urban heat. Humidity plays a major role, when you are in northern countries and it's humid -20 can be quite annoying whilst dry -30 is absolutely ok, same with the heat.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaah no. This was such a good story with good development otherwise that ending it where we did ticked me off. The characters were believable, the dialogue was actually pretty good, the building of the friendship from them previously being strangers was a good change of pace. Both MMC and FMC were actually pretty strong characters in their own rights. Sure, rhey were tropish, but they built off of the other. It was believable. Then, when the childhood friend came in and ragged on FMC and MMC defended her, it really felt like the culmination of their friendship and hearing her side of the story, which really solidified he was a great guy. Yet, we get the promise that the friend was going to apologize next time he saw her but we don't see that. We get a pseudo-confession from FMC to MMC that she wants him to be her boyfriend but he, of course, conveniently doesn't hear what she says and we don't get a scene of that being cleared up. She doesn't even get mad like the title says she should. The fact the video ended when there was so much more story to tell in this one, so many more things we need to see as an audience to be satisfied is so saddening, especially since you have to spend 20 minutes before finding that out. And, since I've seen it in the comments, don't "tHeY tOtAlLy GeT tOgEtHeR" me because at this point, MMC hasn't even begun to realize the feeling is mutual. She "confessed" but he didn't hear. At this point, she's just a girl who has become friends with him and comes over often. He could easily keep going on being dense as hell, especially when he's unremarkable, even by FMC's standards (I mean, she literally says it). He would need a push from that childhood friend we saw or one of the girls at school or something to realize. So we should get a scene where they come back from summer break, childhood friend should apologize profusely, she should be clinging to his arm as they walk in, they should clear up rumors, and childhood friend should tell MMC what's what to get them to date. Hell, we could even keep this out of school by maybe having them all get together at a summer festival or something, keep the relatively private but romantic nature of the story rolling and the ending would be satisfying. The only thing that should be left to the imagination in this story is whether FMC and MMC become horndogs after they hookup or not. Not whether they hookup in the first place.
Yeah, the ending felt a little rushed!
