The camera footage shows hoodie guy Parting from them and going in the opposite direction. Some reports say that the private party that gave the girls a lift were Ethan and Xana. But if that were true why with the police hide that? It establishes that all 4 entered the house together. This is not a crime of passion in the usual sense. A crime of passion is more impulsive. Girls argue with a guy at a bar, he follows them home and attempts to continue the argument, and snatches a knife off the kitchen island and attacks them. Impulsive, using the weapon to hand and not premeditated. This perpetrator brought a huge military style knife to attack these people and possibly lay in wait for them. Someone from the bar might have followed the girls home, But he would’ve had to have the presence of mind to bring his big knife since they were killed shortly after they got home. I have a suspicion it was about social rejection. They seemed to be surrounded by the party and social scene. Someone could have felt excluded and ultimately turned on them. Stalking is very real.
Definitely agree with you about rejection! Dumped by one of the girls, the other girls stuck up for her, so hatred for all 3 girls, the young man in the wrong place @ wrong time, or maybe he shunned this killer, who I believe is male.
Agree. An outsider who was perhaps befriended by one of the female victims, made to feel welcome and then told, adios or something like that. Humiliated embarrassed or rejected. Then the rejection becomes applied to " those kids ", versus one person. No way would this be a drug deal gone bad or a drug debt matter. College kids are small time drug users, IMHO. No cartel is going to carry to something this brutal for a few dollars.

Sketchy, two of roommates were unharmed and just “slept through the attack” so who called 911 what?? Who found the bodies? They had a dog what happened to the dog??
likely that the dog is just friendly from living in a party house and it seems like he waited till they were asleep which means he watched them as the lights went off and snuck in and probably slashed their throats so they couldnt scream. from what ive heard the bodies were practically dismembered in the way they were stabbed. thats why you can see photos of blood stains running down the foundation outside. question is does the grub truck guys story line up because he said he was their neighbor and it takes 30 minutes to walk that far and given that time frame and amount of time he had to watch them before going to bed adds up. he got there at 2:30 and the last recorded thing the girls did were 7 phone calls to kaylees ex bf at 2:52. after that she must of went at least laid down for sleep and then im presuming around 20-30 minutes later she was murdered. they need to ask the roommates of the grub truck guy when he got home and if they physically saw his appearance as he entered because who ever did this had to of had blood all over them.

I don't think this is a crime of passion I think this was a premeditated thrill kill. The suspect might be familiar with the victims but I don't think this was a vendetta.
That would be a reasonable thing to theorize. The number of people killed (4) seems a bit much for a vendetta against all of them (although possible). Also thinking what if this was done by a group of people who chose these poor college kids because they were familiar with them/knew how to gain entry into the house? Very scary.
@anastasia it reminds me a lot of the gainesville ripper case 😣🥺 that was like first feeling. The gainesville ripper watched his victims from a wooded area. He was brutal with the killings and a lot of of the murders and he mutilated the bodies for shock and thrill. It also could be an outsider student who didn't fit in and was envious of their social life. I think the call to police is significant. It wouldn't surprise me if the killer made the call. Killers do that for recognition all the time. And usually it's the killers that are capable of this kinda murder too.
@D B a million % a male. This is my full analysis lol.... my personal and professional (in my head) opinions on the University of Idaho murders. I don't think this was a crime of "passion" at all in fact it would shock me if this was some kind of revenge killing. This has the markings of a thrill kill all over it. The killer could have been someone they knew in passing or they could have been a stranger who was watching them. I personally feel the killer had to have done some of his homework. 5 girls alone in a house surrounded by woods. The sickest killers tend to love to target the sororities...also I think the person that killed these kids is egotistical and sick enough to call the police to show off his "work". This person could have been an outcast who was envious of their social lives. Or it could be just a random person watching. Either way I am pretty confident this isn't about drugs. I don't think any of the kids were the "target" I think they were sitting ducks. And I think the boyfriend and the girlfriend tried to fight back because they were the only ones with more than 1 person in the room. Thus I think it was 1 person. I think the 1 girls dog didn't bark or go crazy because he could have been in his crate. Lot's of young dogs big dogs are crated at night. This case reminds me of the gainesville ripper. Thank you for coming to my crime analysis ted talk.
@D B yes lol. However it could be sexual in the sense that he got off on slaughtering them. You don't need to be sexuay assaulted for it to be sexually motivated. If there are cameras on roads/main roads near the house of the victims, they could very well help. Britain's CCTV system is vital to crime-solving in those countries. I'm sure investigators will look for men who knew all or some of the victims and might have had a grudge against one or more of them. The girls were in good spirits and were not thinking when he knocked and they opened to door for him. It is clear from the food truck, the girls are not taking their safety seriously. He had not planned for, the two more people in the house. After he killed the first person that attacked him he felt he had no choice but to eliminate all of them as he did not want any witnesses. He must have already experienced prison and was determined not to go back. He is going to want to confide in someone as taking 4 lives is not easy. He will talk. Sticking to the basics, notice there was no mention of "Forced entry", this is important. If there was none, they knew their attacker, someone they let crash on the couch, or an ex etc......The victims were killed in their sleep; a random killer would have too many variables to account for, like the presence of a dog (too much noise) and no idea if there were other dudes in the house.

It's unbelievable that another student would do this, such malice in a 18-20 year old. Obviously we have mass murder's by young people killing elementary school children, so anything is possible. But they all used guns. It takes a certain amount of skill to kill multiple people with a knife. I mean what would 4 people just sit there waiting to be stabbed. I imagine people would be screaming, running, fighting, picking up sh*t, throwing stuff, trying to defend themselves. I was in the military and 1 guy with one knife can be defeated. NO one had mace, the stereotype of Idaho is everyone has easy access to fire arms. Perhaps there was more than one person. This sounds like some Ted Bundy or Richard Speck sh*t, when they killed a bunch of girls with a knife. Perhaps he killed the guy first and the girls just froze?? It will all come out in the end for sure. A scene like that, there must be DNA evidence all over the place!
Yep. They do it all the time. It’s all on the register’s computer; SKU, time, method of payment. And then they look at the film. They’ve caught ppl buying knives, guns, cleaning supplies, gear for an abduction.
Where did they mention Target or Walmart ? They didn't . If you're a detective and asking about a specific type of knife at a local store ? What is so hard for you to comprehend there ?
It was probably some angry virgin, he got laughed at too many times and decided he had enough. Using a knife seems pretty personal and he didn’t kill two of the other roommates, so he knew exactly who he was going for. How in the heck could the other two roommates ever fall a sleep again?
If you look up the address of the house on google maps you can see it basically sits at a dead end road in a run down area of what is likely nothing but student housing. BREAKING NEWS! Nothing new, just saying that so they can run the whole story again emphasizing words like stabbed, blood and death as much as possible. It’s tragedy porn for news crews
It's lucky that the other 2 roomates were nit attacked, always sleep with your bedroom door locked, this is what could have saved them. Perhaps the killer tried to enter their rooms too but the doors were locked.
Just a theory, and I hope I'm wrong, but it's possible the killer called 911 far away from the crime scene to report the killings. Hence, the vague "unconscious" report. Why? Maybe one or both of the surviving roommates got a friend/acquaintance to murder their roommates, for whatever reason, who knows. Perhaps the plan was for the roommates to lock themselves in their rooms, pretend they were sleeping all morning, while someone they knew committed the murders. Several hours went by post-murder, girls still in their rooms. To appear as innocent as possible, the killer then anonymously calls 911 to report unconscious person. Roommates are eventually woken/stirred by police when entering the residence to investigate the crime scene.
Hmm, let's think about this logically for a second . You're stabbed while sleeping, then put your hands up as you're stabbed again and receive a defensive wound perhaps ?
If they were asleep and found in their beds then why did the surviving roomates confuse the disturbance for a party? Police said there was blood everywhere but the survivors were not the ones that called 911 at 11am
I read that the two roommates who were not attacked had a bedroom down in the basement (not sure if true). If this is the case they were probably 2 floors away from where the attacks occurred. Also, if the attack occurred while they were sleeping they most likely had no time to react and scream. I was under the impression one of the surviving roommates called 911, but I could be wrong.
That is what I have been thinking too. They said there was defensive wounds, wouldn't the victim have screamed. I don't think 4 people could be killed with a knife in silence. There could have been 4 people that committed this horrific crime, but one knife wound is most likely not going to kill someone. There had to be screams and the roommates didn't hear anything? Seems really weird.

It's very difficult for 1 person to kill 4 people at the same time with a pocket knife without 1 victim hearing the commotion and being woken up from a struggle of some sort. Unless somehow they were tied up, gagged or drugged before hand. IMO. I wonder if all 4 were not killed at the same time. It's possible Ethan and Xana were followed home from the party and someone entered the home then and killed them but the other 2 girls could have arrived home after their murders but the suspect still trapped in the house and waited for them to go to sleep and then did them. Or Ethan and Xana arrived home earlier than someone expected and surprised the criminal in their house. A 3rd of many possibilities is they met someone at the frat party and went back home with them. I assume Moscow PD looked for surveillance cameras at the frat and/ or every house along their path of travel. So many homes have ring doorbell cameras or a security camera outside their house. Fall break has to be starting in just a couple of days; I have a bad feeling that the case is going to lose momentum.

Agree. An outsider who was perhaps befriended by one of the female victims, made to feel welcome and then told, adios or something like that. Humiliated embarrassed or rejected. Then the rejection becomes applied to " those kids ", versus one person.

Agree
I'm assuming the police were able to track their movements through their cell phones. If that's the case, after 9:00 pm, where were Ethan and Xana? Did they go home at 9:00 pm or is their location for several hours unknown (which would mean both phones are off)? Unlike Kaylee and Maddie, Ethan and Xana were within walking distance of the residence.
Definitely a possibility
Those 2 girls have the answer
There was a keypad entrance to the house and many friends knew the code.
How are they asleep if they have defensive wounds?
It makes absolutely no sense.
The two were in upstairs, 3 rd floor with bedroom doors looked.
They were asleep maybe? Was music blasting covering screams? Plenty of logical reasons… speculation is unhelpful
It's possible Ethan and Xana were followed home from the party and someone entered the home then and killed them but the other 2 girls could have arrived home after their murders but the suspect still trapped in the house and waited for them to go to sleep and then did them. Or Ethan and Xana arrived home earlier than someone expected and surprised the criminal in their house. A 3rd of many possibilities is they met someone at the frat party and went back home with them. I assume Moscow PD looked for surveillance cameras at the frat and/ or every house along their path of travel. So many homes have ring doorbell cameras or a security camera outside their house.
I have no idea of the layout of the inside of the house or how the sleeping arrangements were. I'm just looking at it from another angle. I feel terrible for their families and friends and the senseless tragic endings to such young lives. I don't believe the M.E. Would be able to tell if 2 victims were killed a few hours apart from the other two. I hope they find the POS/POS's responsible for this senseless tragic and violent crime.
They were drunk..
What a coincidence one of the 2 roommates that wasn’t killed came out and spoke and claimed when he went downstairs he saw the friends bound and gagged and there was a lot of blood everywhere. So much blood that it was leaking out from the house and down the foundation of the house. I actually saw pictures of it. So that tells me that was a very gruesome scene. But now the police are claiming that’s false they weren’t gagged n bound. Then why did the roommate come out and say that if it wasn’t true. So something isn’t adding up or these roommates are lying and now something
Definitely wasn’t a “pocket knife”

@@melissab1725 were all 4 together in the same room or he just saw 2 of them when he came down the stairs?
I wonder if they questioned the Uber driver who drove them home from the food truck. There have been many stories over the years across the country and other countries about Uber drivers raping/attacking some they've picked up.
Sounds like a possible serial killer wannabe It reminds me of a case where the sons friend had fantasized about killing people. Picked his friend and friends family bc he knew how to get into home. Attacked parents first, then killed son. He eventually confessed.
Wannabe ? Lol if so he is one hella good serial killer. 4 in one day 💀
The sister confirmed they took an Uber and it was a trusted driver the sister of the victim is ON IT
Right from the first 48 hrs ... I felt law enforcement or similar employee ,was responsible ..
They were asleep……….but they had defensive wounds??? Contradictory.
Krem news in Moscow county, what's really going on
The killer didn't know them but knew it was a girl only house.
The fact the boyfriend stayed over was something the killer didn't expect.
This is a cerial killer ,maybe his first time.
But he left the other 2 girls alone
Ted Bundy wanna be.
@@PrincessDie187 The 2 girls upstairs locked their BR doors,
What did the Police say when you contacted them with your information ?
Party house= drugs/alcohol🤦🏼🙃🤦🏼
I just saw an interview on fox and inside edition it appears goncalves sister already tracked down the Uber driver from the food truck to home , so they drove
Everyone at that party is a suspect.
It's not hard to figure out that if four people are stabbed, they have to either be sleeping or passed out from alcohol or drugs and if the murders happened between three and four, after they were home for an hour or two, it was likely someone they knew and probably partied with and that person waited till they had all fallen asleep..
I still don't understand...wouldn't the other 3 have woken up after he killed the first victim??
@@treeyellow4627 Good point. These people had to have been out from alcohol or drugs to not have heard the first victims. Same for the 2 upstairs. No explanation for why the dog did not bark unless the attacker was well known to the house.
Party house = open door = drugs/alcohol🤦🏼🙃🤦🏼
I am sure the police know what they are doing.
Blood foot/hands prints?
I think they know who did it, and are quietly building a strong case to bring to trial. No updates means close to chest, and not leaking any information that could hurt catching this/these monster(s.) That is all it could possibly be at this point.
broken drug contract? students laughing about it thinking what is a mid-level dealer gonna do about it? Then a visit to a spot they are VERY familiar with, with a very quiet killing tool. Take out the non-payers, send a message to the community at large. Cops turn in circles. The End. If there are 140+ agents on this, the authorities are lost. And the ones who would know, they aren't here anymore. No witness. Well, maybe the dog, but he isn't telling anything to anyone.
Gee a whole 10 percent in sales? Generous...
The caller might be the murderer
The second big question, WHO called 911?
I believe that one of the family members said it was a friend of one of the victims. Not the roommates
Jealousy.
They need to check out the two roommates.
lol I hope they read your comment so they can get right on that
You know there's no need to press for answers. they'll give you answers when they get them.... let them do their jobs
Really? If u don’t press them for answers we may never know the full details.
@@melissab1725 I mean this respectfully because I know you’re just trying to help, but I’ve seen you reply to almost every comment on here sharing misinformation and it’s getting really annoying. if police are withholding information, there’s a reason for it. let them do their job. you are NOT apart of this and it is not your job to be investigating. This is real life with real people, along with people who are affected by this, not some tv show or movie. I know you just want answers like the rest of us, but you have to be patient with extreme cases like this. We will know everything once the suspect is caught. Police also have to be careful with what information they share as it can be very helpful catching the suspect. remember, there are family members, friends, and roommates who are seeing your comments, so please be respectful. Thanks.
This world is so crazy, Just sad
@4:07 there a gentlemen waiting by himself in the top camera. I notice he did something that kind of struck me odd. He turned his hat from backwards to forward. That's kind of weird body language don't you think? Why all of a sudden he wants to hide his face? What was he thinking that made him want to do that? Also notice how his body points toward the woman that were murdered prior to doing so. He appears to look around at his surroundings as well rather than the Menu. FBI I just probably found your suspect thank me later also he appears to be by himself... most killers are always by themselves. Also if I solved your case I'm applying to the FBI hope I helped.
He's been cleared brain surgeon
Yes that’s the same guy the police questioned and said he is not a suspect or person of interest. Idc what the police say I think he is the suspect. I noticed he did that as well. Seemed like he didn’t wanna be close to the camera. That same guy was talking to the heavier dude and fat dude most of said hey look them girls are leaving and he pointed as the girls walked around the truck and that’s when the hoodie dude left walking after them. His whole body language is off to me. I also noticed he was like kicking the sides of his shoes. Which I think means something maybe impatient or nervous.
@@mrbob8618 he’s just trying to help like everyone else. No need for the smart ass comment.
@@melissab1725 You’re not trying to help, you’re playing psychic… even though you know the police have cleared the hoodie guy, you think he’s the suspect.. oh, brother
@@melissab1725 wow, you’re not very bright are you? Maybe you should leave this to the professionals sweetheart.
Guaranteed whomever did this has killed before. Also, the killer knew the layout of the place. Delivery person, mailman, lives nearby, possibly has lived there in the past. He waited for everyone to go to sleep before entering and knew how many were there.
