    As a long long time watcher & researcher of true crime I’ve not had any issues with how police have done anything. Their level of secrecy & lack of info are protecting the investigation, even at the cost of angering the families which is so tough. Families & the general populace almost never understand it. I’ve not had an issue with anything. LE has done so far, even their initial thoughts vs changing their mind on a few things, that’s all par for course. People expect everything now within hours to days, we live in a profoundly ‘immediate’ society. Even Amazon brings our orders now same or next day. But this release *does* feel too soon. Once they release they will never ever have a pristine scene - ever again. It doesn’t hurt anything to wait a bit longer. This is very soon. I hope the state + FBI have tremendously helped them. I do feel regardless of how long it takes, this particular killer will be caught. I send law enforcement a ton of support. They need it, and deserve it.
    Families are receiving love & support, be sure to support the morale of police who feel the great pressure of doing stuff ‘on time’

    • @glamdolly30
      @glamdolly30 Год назад

      Clearly police have processed the crime scene, documented everything, and done every last procedure that needs to be done. No crime scene is preserved indefinitely!
      My hope is that if the personal items being given to victims' loved ones are blood spattered, police clean them up before returning them. Here in the UK my friend's sister and niece (mother and daughter),were brutally murdered in her home, by her boyfriend. He stabbed and strangled both women.
      When police forensic officers finished their work and told family members they could go into the house to retrieve any personal items, they found a very distressing scene. There was blood everywhere, and no clean up had been organised by police to spare them that trauma.
      I found this shocking - my friend together with other relatives, ended up having to buy cleaning supplies and clean up their loved ones' blood themselves. This included a heavy trail of blood up the stairs, where the killer had chased one victim, stabbing the back of her legs as she tried in vain to flee to the bathroom. Heartbreaking.

      This is a ridiculous expectation. For a property owner to eat that cost. I understand how gruesome, heinous and brutal this crime is but, many homes have had devastating deaths occur inside if them, and that doesn't mean they should automatically be required to be demolished. Foolish, naive expectation. You're thinking emotionally, and again, I understand, but people can't live based on emotion. This is the property owners call and they shouldn't be pushed into doing what others think is morally right.
      I guess it would be okay as long as it's not you eating easily over a million in cost. These homes are extremely expensive I believe, especially in the college area. It's unrealistic to expect them to lose what they have already invested, as well as cost to demolish then rebuild again. I can speak on this because I own properties I rent out.
      Great sentiment in theory, but unrealistic. If it happened at one of my properties, I'd be transparent on what happened for potential renters but never demolish and rebuild. That would financial ruin me. If that makes me an A-hole, I'll take that.

    I still don’t understand why they said there was an unconscious “person”(but there was 2 in each room) when they called 911. Umm, the 4 were stabbed to death. I mean it was so bloody that it actually seeped out to the exterior of the house.
    And didn’t they say the roommates called other people and they came over before they even called 911. Just bizarre to me that they would use the word unconscious

      No I believe that’s what happened and that’s what I just read the first roommate saw Ethan which screaming out of the house dialing 911 on the way followed by the second one I don’t even think made it out of the house before she fainted and then one of the people coming up to the house completed that 911 call to see this girl was unconscious because she fainted in the yard they don’t know what’s in the house so they were just relaying what they were seeing. It disturbed me too but once I read that explanation I thought oh that makes it that was all they were seeing.

    It seems to me that whoever did this needed the victims to be asleep. So, they either had to be watching from outside or been invited to sleep over meaning they would already be inside and aware of who went to bed when. More likely outside and see the two sets of residents enter. In this scenario, the 2 survivors may have already been inside and asleep, so the killer was not aware of them being there. But that would indicate someone who didn't previously know about the 1st floor occupants. 🤔

    • @moaningpheromones
      @moaningpheromones Год назад +1

      anything is possible - i'd be surprised if it was someone invited to come in and sleep the night. really hard to say exactly why two were left alone. the house layout is an obvious possibility - plus maybe now knowing who was down there if anyone. if the killer didn't know them well - they could've had guns for all he knew. took the risk anyway. that makes you question maybe yes he did know them - knew they didn't own or use guns.

    The killer is a skilled fighter and the assault was well planned. He left so little evidence that the FBI is stumped a month later. Killing with a knife is both intimate and dangerous. He went into a building alone with a minimum 6 people inside. The killer is physically strong and very confident with his athleticism. I would profile a fit male in his 20’s or mid thirties, athlete or former athlete, imposing but also intelligent and meticulous. Some martial arts or wrestling/boxing. Military or perhaps police experience. If he is a cop we have a real problem on our hands…
