- An Ohio teen's mom called the police on her after they got into an argument and she stormed off. Bodycam video shows Strongsville officers pulling Karina Hnat over and questioning her about what she had inside her car. What officers found inside the vehicle did not compare to what Hnat was hiding in her pajamas - a large can of White Claw, which she chugged after slipping out of her handcuffs.

I feel sorry for any parent who has an addicted child. It must be so heartbreaking. You're trying to save their lives and they hate you for it.
I feel sorry for the teen whose had a a troubled life and whose parents have failed her so much that she's turned to drugs to cope with her life's pain. People think the worst of her and how terrible her parents must have it, when she's just doing what she knows works to make her life hurt less.

A lot of addicts start using because their parents were terrible, data show how traumatized children are much more prone to addictions later in life.
She’s an addict at age 19 that’s very sad.
Also sad that it’s not very uncommon. I was also an addict at age 19. I’m 29 now and don’t even smoke cigarettes and rarely drink. Changed my life around and thankfully I’m alive to tell my story. Some people don’t get that chance. Life is crazy.

The reaction of the officer taking the breathalyzer said it all. He was stunned because she just caught a dui for no reason.
This is why you don't talk to cops at all even to try and look innocent or explain your innocence if you are. She openly admitted that she was supposed to give the drugs to someone else to try and absolve herself but that's admitting to an even larger crime casually. Because the cops didn't ask and she volunteered that information she doesn't need to be mirandized for it to be used in court. DO NOT TALK TO COPS. A wise lawyer once said a guilty man shouldn't talk to cops and an innocent man should absolutely never talk to cops.
